Lewisham to Streatham does not need to be accomplished via a Superloop route and the corridor beyond Tooting on the 57 is awful for traffic. There aren't too many other corridors left where you can suddenly implement extra Superloop without completely changing road layout's to implement the priority needed - the ones implemented work for the most part because majority of the corridors are quieter and/or the North Circular, even with it's issues, runs to a far better standard due to the numerous upgrades it got. Not my area, but the 66 corridor might be a possibility. Maybe Upminster - Hornchurch - Romford, then via the 66 to Leytonstone, but only stopping at Newbury Park and Gants Hill. Locals - feel free to say how silly I am! I proposed a similar idea, but as a night route (N66). I suppose it could be a possibility as a Superloop route. Though at that point, extend it from Leytonstone to Stratford.

I could go even one step further by maybe bringing it to Stratford City or International depending on if there is space. The only downside is when the A12 goes down. The tailbacks like the NCR and A13 can be pretty bad. The bus park area at Stratford International is now occupied by blocks of flats.

North Greenwich wouldn't necessarily be a start/end point. Potentially you could have the route through the Silvertown Tunnel continue further south to Lewisham. Then the next route from Lewisham to Crystal Palace or Streatham. Lewisham to Streatham might be better via the South Circular from Catford although I wouldn't envisage any particularly fast journey times. Maybe less of a difference compared to the outer London orbital routes, but would likely still offer some advantage to the current stopping services. The Superloop is intended to better connect between towns in the suburbs (rather than having to travel towards Central London and out again). And I think there is the potential for this in some of the inner suburbs too - roughly halfway between the current Superloop in places like Croydon/Bromley and the Overground in places like Clapham/Peckham. Maybe using the South Circular here would be slightly faster, but it would miss out key destinations like Crystal Palace and Sydenham. Similarly, I think some existing sections of the Superloop (particularly in North London) have less potential where they miss out of serving some useful destinations, possibly for the sake of speeding up the overall journey. For example I think the SL10 would be a lot more useful if it went via Brent Cross or Edgware, rather than Hendon. And the SL1 largely uses the North Circular for faster journeys but doesn't really serve any major town centres other than Walthamstow, missing places like Edmonton Green. It's a difficult balance to get right - the SL7 for example could provide some useful new links in West London if it went slightly further in, to serve places like Hounslow and Twickenham (or if the SL7 went further out via Ruislip and Uxbridge), but obviously either would make longer distance journeys to/from Heathrow a lot slower.

The bus park area at Stratford International is now occupied by blocks of flats. Isn’t the 241 still meant to be extended to the Here East developments? If so the route could simply stand in Stratford City Bus Station. I believe that was in the 2017 / 18 proposal but no longer proposed. No point extended it as it will just duplicate the 388.

The 388 does load quite well in Stratford (though this can be said about most routes in Stratford), sometimes to the point where it is full, so there may be some merit in extending the 241 to Here East.

Sorry but I disagree and really think that would be very excessive having two routes serving this section. There is also the HearEast Shuttle for workers in the area.

I agree if it were to only extend as far as HereEast as proposed, but I think it might be useful to have a direct Stratford-Hackney bus route, which could initially parallel the 388, then follow the 30 or 236. Possibly even replacing the 276 through to Stoke Newington, increasing capacity on this section, with the 276 curtailed to Hackney Wick (or maybe Leyton Asda). Though this wouldn't necessarily mean extending something from Stratford like the 241 - for example a revised 67 could maybe work between Wood Green and Stratford City?

All of these would be painfully slow in the peaks. Isn’t nearly every bus route slow in the peaks though? Well that’s why people use cars. If one has to sit in traffic might as well do in the comfort of a car The SL17 in particular will use all the worst bits to get to North Greenwich from Brockley!
