I could see Croydon to Bexleyheath via this routing but I doubt the section south of Bexleyheath would be considered given the links between Bexleyheath and Dartford/Bluewater that already exist Agreed someone wanting to continue on from Bexleyheath to Bluewater can get the high frequency 96. If it was to go on further than Bexleyheath, maybe Erith would be the best option via Barnehurst and North Heath to help the 229 out. I’m not sure that it would be necessary though, I think Bexleyheath to Croydon would be long enough.

There isn’t anywhere for a route to stand at Bromley South Station. Yes there is a Bus Stand it is on Simpsons Road. Was supposed to be for the 126. The Ringers Road stand was only meant to be temporary 11 years later… Is it still there though? After having built the new cinema and hotel there?

Is it still there though? After having built the new cinema and hotel there? Well yes because it was purpose built. Check it on Google Maps…

After having built the new cinema and hotel there? The Simpsons Road stand is certainly still there - I’m told it’s resident concerns about idling engines that has prevented the 126 going around there. Shouldn’t be an issue once the 126 goes electric…… I’ve seen rail replacement buses turn around using Westmoreland Road, Sandford Road, Pinewood Road and Cromwell Avenue so I wonder if there’s scope for a bus stand to be created along there somewhere?

I would look at moving the 269 there as well. The Ringers Road stand could be used to curtail maybe the 61 to Bromley South.

Although it says there should be enough clearance for deckers, having seen it with my own eyes I’m not so sure. I’d be more inclined to send something like the 227 down there - that would create a lot more space at Bromley North especially if we go with my idea of a Superloop Hub at Plaistow Green!

If Simpsons Road can be used, I’d nominate the 199 to be extended there from Bellingham. It should have happened years ago.

How well do the 208 & 320 load on the Bromley-Catford corridor? If extending the 199 to Bromley doesn’t over-bus the Bromley-Catford corridor then I would agree it would be a very beneficial extension.

I'd suggest extending a route or two from Bromley North a couple of minutes up the road to Plaistow Green to stand, 61 and/or 269 would be my suggestions.

I think there would be residents objections to using Plaistow Green. An MB driver suggested TfL were looking to purchase some of the car park at Bromley North but Network Rail were asking for too much, possibly just canteen gossip?

If we were to get more Superloop routes, perhaps we should expect more radial routes rather than another orbital.

If we were to get more Superloop routes, perhaps we should expect more radial routes rather than another orbital. I actually think the existing routes should be given at least a year or so to get a better understanding of how well they are being used and the affect they have had on other routes that share the same corridors. I don’t think all the money should be spent on express routes and all stops services are neglected.
