After Government gave £250m, it seems TfL Board Finance Committee has been convened at short notice for extra meeting Friday 22nd Agenda mentions a new Business Plan, but no supporting papers yet, presumably there are significant changes to existing plan board.tfl.gov.uk/ieListDocuments.aspx?CId=171&MId=815&Ver=4I bet the fares go up a lot. I'm paying £184 a month for 1-3 Oyster, I bet it will be closer to £190 or worse come January. Best to buy an Oyster card this month before the hike...

As a legacy of Covid in 2021 when the Government was asked to push the hikes back, they now occur in the first working week of March.

Not too clued up but could TFL still meet 2030 without extra funding? I get the hint that everything is not made public and they could deep down be financially comfortable.

It's very much needed, the trams have been neglected ever since the collapse of the Westfield Croydon project and Croydon Council. TfLs Trams 2030 proposal had plans for Morden Road - Phipps Bridge to be double-tracked and for the South Wimbledon link to be construed by now with a loop on Dingwall road to also allow for 12 tph to New Addington. None of this has occurred and we are still in the same position as we were when these plans were proposed 7 years ago. Unfortunately I can't see any of the Tram 2030 proposals being implemented now other than fleet renewal ... but on a like for like basis, no longer trams

I do still find it incredible that a bus from 2020 won't be allowed after 2030 yet the Bakerloo Line will be using trains from 1972 still.

Just like the proposed Sutton link, poorly thought out. I’d much rather see a Bakerloo line extension be prioritised as they would provide the most to the most amount of people.

That Dingwall Road loop idea all seemed a bit pie in the sky quite honestly and I don't see how 12tph to New Addington can be achieved without seriously delaying buses at East Croydon. I think double tracking Morden Road to Phipps Bridge should be the priority.
