Putney Bridge Road would not be overbussed because I am not sending the 414 to Wandsworth via Putney Bridge. Instead I intend to divert it away from Putney Bridge, as far as Fulham Broadway station, and instead taking it via route 28 to Wandsworth So which of the 28 or 295 is being reduced on Wandsworth Bridge Road to avoid it being overbussed or on Harwood Road for the same reason? I did not take that into consideration when planning it. Perhaps the 28 could get a frequency reduction since the 28 and 414 parallel each other between Wandsworth and Fulham

Hmm. The only way I can see the 414 being even slightly viable now is if it takes the Putney Heath terminal of the 14 and the 14 falls back to Putney Bridge - not saying that’s a good idea but throwing that possibility into the ring.
Otherwise, probably best to have a few more 14s and put the 414 out of its misery.

Nice idea, creates a link from Chelsea Harbour to Wandsworth town centre. I'd probably extend the 306 on the other end, I'm sure there's space at Horn Lane or Acton Old Town Hall

I wonder where the 414 would stand at Marble Arch, especially if the 94 gets cut back there too? Seems the 414 won't be going to Lancaster Gate as previously suggested - unless it uses stand space there, going out of service from Marble Arch.

Should lead to enough space on paper but in reality I can see it getting very messy there.

I thought a new stand had been marked out by Cumberland Gate that the 30 was using whilst the mound was being constructed. Be interesting to know where TFL had in mind for the 45 to stand aswell when it was proposed to extend to Marble Arch.

I'd make a slight change to your 414 to Wandsworth idea by going via the 306 route though Imperial Wharf & Sands End instead and in that way it doesn't duplicate the 28 the whole way between Fulham Broadway & Wandsworth. Nice idea, creates a link from Chelsea Harbour to Wandsworth town centre. I'd probably extend the 306 on the other end, I'm sure there's space at Horn Lane or Acton Old Town Hall I certainly think it strange that Wandsworth Bridge Road has no link to the West End or King’s Road. Given the massive gentrification that has occurred in the area over the last forty years and the large riverside developments built or planned, you would think this corner of Fulham could do with a link to Chelsea and/or South Ken and beyond with which many residents have work/shopping/leisure links to. When Imperial Wharf was first planned TfL were planning to introduce an ‘embankment’ bus service to link Townmead Road with Chelsea via Chelsea Harbour and despite the opening of Imperial Wharf Station, the area still feels cut off from the Chelsea side of the creek. I’ve always thought that route 11 could have been diverted off the King’s Road to serve either Wandsworth Bridge Road or Townmead Road. The final few stops in Fulham are not very well used and the Vanston Place stand is a constant source of conflict with local residents. However the reduced frequency to x12mins and terrible reliability would be potential barriers to building up usage. A rerouting of the 414 is another potential option albeit that I am not sure whether buses could cope with the left hand turn from Fulham Road into Harwood Road. I would leave the 306 as it is along Imperial Road as it provides a useful link to shops in North End Road and the Borough’s administrative hub in Hammersmith.

Kinda of sad to see a route get wasted like this, and after it gets cut, TFL said they’d do further analysis to see if they can cut the route completely and increase the frequency on 14. To be honest I don’t see any hope for 414 as you got 74 from South Kensington and a few others from HPC which go Marble Arch. This has been said before but maybe they could re-route 414 to Camden Town via St John’s Wood Road and London Zoo, which would link Edgware Road/ Putney to Camden. To my knowledge, the 88 stand hasn’t been touched in a while so that would put it to some good use.

Interesting that 84% of respondents said the 414's cut back would make their journey compared to 11% who said there wouldn't be any change
