so Premier League returns tonight š My top 6 and bottom 3 predictions for the end of the season. 1. Man City 2. Liverpool 3.Chelsea 4 Arsenal 5. Tottenham 6. Manchester United 18. Leeds United 19. Fulham 20. Bournemouth Top 6: 1) Manchester City - very close between them & Liverpool due to City selling several first team players 2) Liverpool - Diaz will replace Mane more effectively than people think, Salah to get golden boot 3) Chelsea - I suspect they have a few more signings incoming 4) Arsenal - If Jesus fires and we don't have major injuries, we should get top 4 though would rather it's through the Europa League as it's a trophy 5) Spurs - Bissouma is great business but their business doesn't look as great as others make them out to be, will be close though for 4th 6) Manchester United - Ten Haag has a job on his hands, they've got a lot to prove Bottom 3: 18) Southampton - I have a feeling they may finally drop this season especially if Che Adams does end up at Forest, just don't think their squad has the numbers or quality anymore 19) Fulham - Silva hasn't been great in his three previous jobs in the Premier League before and while Fulham have a better squad than last time, I don't think they've enough collectively 20) Bournemouth - I can see them struggling quite a bit, have only signed a couple of players and squad depth is an issue. Parker could be one of the first to be sacked This went well - one relegated team predicted right (albeit in the wrong place), the champions predicted right and one other top four team predicted right (again in the wrong place), good job I didn't try to predict the rest of the table

Predicting the PL is always difficult, though Chelsea and Tottenham had awful seasons because they are badly run clubs and hired incompetent managers like Lampard. Same goes for the three relegated teams. Predictions for next year: 1. Man City - can't see anyone else winning the title 2. Man Utd - I think they'll have a great season and will really rebuild under Ten Hag 3. Liverpool - expecting them to bounce back and reach top 4 4. Arsenal - don't think they're as good as Liverpool or the two Manchester clubs. Champions League will fatigue them too. 5. Newcastle - will do well but I think there will be 4 teams better than them 6. Tottenham - not sure who they're getting but the situation is a mess and I can't see them getting top 4 7. Chelsea - Poch will do well however I can't see Chelsea getting top 6 Bottom 3: Everton, Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth or Sheffield United I have a feeling that Luton will survive whilst Everton's time is up. Of course this could change depending on transfers.

For a start, the transfer window hasnāt even opened yet so we donāt have a full picture of whoās going where etc, and also in terms of managers as Spurs donāt even have one lined up!

Whatever anybody thinks of Anthony Taylor as a referee this really is appalling...

Whatever anybody thinks of Anthony Taylor as a referee this really is appalling... Disgusting. I canāt help but feel this was partially fuelled by Joseās attitude to Anthony Taylor after the game. I know heās not solely to blame but he did exactly the same to āATā verbally after the match

He deserves far more than a touch line ban - in Siere A this season, he has already been sanctioned on several occasions. He needs a lengthy stadium ban - personally, Iād rather he just retire for good, Iāve never liked him

Man City win FA cup final, as expected! Bet they'll win next week unfortunately I think the better team won although it was close, City dominated after scoring in 14 seconds until a ridiculous penalty handed United a lifeline, De Gea was probably at fault for both goals. I can't see City failing to beat Inter Milan but in a one off game anything can happen.

Ross County win dramatic play off final to stay in the Scottish Premiership And that in itself is the problem with relegation play offs - it rewards failure for the top flight team and punishes the team from the lower division who had a good season. Thank goodness that system isn't in England

Thank goodness that system isn't in England You could say the same for the playoffs in the lower leagues. A team that finished 6th could get promoted when there were 3 teams better than them It isnāt the same though because the four teams in the playoffs down here all had good seasons and wasnāt fighting relegation so I donāt have an issue with the playoffs in England - itās still some sort of success. Being rewarded for finishing second bottom by stopping the team in the next division from coming up doesnāt sit well with me at all
