Will be interesting to see whether Arsenal's defeat is a one off or if they slip up more often and hand over the title to Man City The latter, I'm afraid. I would like to see Newcastle win the league if anyone just hoping the City game goes better this time round for Spurs... I cannot see Spurs beating Man City. I know this season has had some giant slaying games and very weird outcomes. But this one I feel it is going to be Spurs 1 - Man City 5

That comment sums up everything wrong with modern football fans. First terrible season they have and everything Klopp has done should be forgotten? Chelsea have sacked their manager almost every season. Admittedly they're not as good as they used to be but still. It's just lucky for Klopp that the Liverpool board are much more patient than at Chelsea The truth is that managers are under pressure to perform and if they don't then they may get sacked even if it is the players fault. Chelsea imo is exhibit A of everything that is wrong with the premier league. I never liked the direction that Abromavich took them under.

Do you know what's even more hilarious a good friend of mine had to remind me that we haven't won at Goodison Park since Arsene Wenger's last season. I laughed so much that I started weeping when he said that. That is disgraceful. We haven't won there for 3 years until this season... Goodison be a hard ground to get a win sometimes

Chelsea are the exception to the rule and the noises coming out of them suggest their culture of sacking managers constantly is over with continued backing of Potter. Liverpool’s board are absolutely right to be patient, it’s not luck but a sign of not overreacting - remember when my club Arsenal were 15th and everyone wanted Arteta sacked or even bottom after three games, where would my team be now if they had sacked him I’m very aware of the fact managers are under pressure when things don’t go well but sacking Klopp isn’t necessarily going to solve the issues they have which are an ageing & injury prone squad with a lack of money to spend on fixing the issues and few good youth players able to cement a place in the team. Bottom after three games is very different though, plenty of time to turn the season around. You can't judge a team on 3 games. This is slightly different because we've had more than half the season and Liverpool are mid table. Maybe I was a bit too critical here but if Liverpool didn't improve substantially (by that I mean at the very least top 6, ideally top 4) then it's a poor season for them. It's not like Man Utd when they went from Ferguson to Moyes in one season from 1st to 7th, it's the same manager, same players mostly so in theory something's going wrong at Liverpool You say you can't judge a team on three games yet you said he should be sacked because they lost to Wolves - your owns words were "Klopp should be sacked for that defeat". Yes it's a poor season but comparing it to Wenger and Arsenal as you did in a different post isn't the same - Wenger had many poor seasons whilst this is Klopp's first. No matter where they finish this season, sacking him shouldn't even be a thought. What's going wrong is the owners don't want to spend but need to because they have an ageing and injury prone team that has little energy hence why teams like Brighton & Wolves are beating them the way they are no matter what manager you have in charge.

The reason I say he should get sacked because of the Wolves game is not just because of that game. there's other games too with poor results. The whole season for them could have gone better. If this was a one off I wouldn't be so bothered, everyone hàs bad days but this adds to one of many losses this sesson

But this one I feel it is going to be Spurs 1 - Man City 5 I agree and I can't see anything other than a City win and Antonio Conte won't be on the touchline as he's recovering from a recent operation. I've heard a few Tottenham fans saying they won't be too upset if they lose today if it helps City to the title😳

Although it was just Preston, his No. 2, Stellini did well in guiding the team through. Let's hope Hugo Dross isn't in goal, and the football isn't too Dier today. City winning will leave them 2 points behind Arsenal, and Man United are close behind as they are also vying for top spot. Should be an entertaining game if not in the rigid "Diamond" formation Conte insists on, but no more Doherty or Gil helping out. I could see some fans not minding a loss, but we've had enough losses and need to take back 4th place

AND THERE IT IS FOLKS. HARRY KANE JOINS THE 200 GOAL CLUB. Assuming Harry Kane stays in England, I wonder if he will go on to beat Alan Shearer's long-standing PL record of 260...??. ...and then Erling Haaland overtakes them both?!

Saw Pep with his head in his hands after Kane's goal, but it's payback for the 4-2 loss

I say fortunately because I don't want City to win another title
