It's a shame the guy tweeting cannot spell "League" well, so we'll have to see what happens... there will be a Legal battle beforehand, and they will probably wriggle out of it. Serious implications if it did go ahead - even Chelsea could disappear if they look into their overspending last month Perhaps a few like Haaland will jump ship from Championship oblivion this summer (It will stop Kane wanting to sign for City, I guess ) Spurs' new signing, Erling Haaland is seen with the controversial 4th kit, with new shirt sponsor Go General, who also own Stadium Naming Rights as Levy agrees to more sponsorship funds. Man City were relegated to the Championship for FFP breach over several years

Some sources even say that Man City could be kicked out of the league! Doubt that this will happen though

Doubt that this will happen though It's on every back page, on the BBC, Sky news, TalkSport... looks like something big will happen if the Prem have already charged them. If it was a one off event, tney could bury it, but it's 14 years

This could possibly be the same result again in this. I could be wrong though and they may come heavy on this.

In other news I'm just glad Christian Atsu has been rescued from the mayhem in Turkey. Prayers goes out to those affected by this matter at this time.

Rather harder to get off on some obscure legal technicality

Really hope that City don't win the league would be nice if someone else wins

Really hope that City don't win the league would be nice if someone else wins That will involve 14 very large brown paper bags to bribe the relevant parties... I cannot see this ending well. Premier League won't want to be seen as 'toothless' and will want to make an example to stop others considering the same course of action. Wait until they open Chelsea's file

From the BBC: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64554257What punishments are available? If City are found guilty of rule breaches, the commission can impose punishments ranging from a fine and points deductions to expulsion from the Premier League. "The potential tariffs are limitless," Maguire said. "It could be anything from 'don't do it again', to a fine, to a points deduction, to stripping Man City of titles, to even expelling them from the Premier League." Most likely it will be one of the first two, although possibly a points deduction could take place it seems unlikely, and unfortunately I think the last two options are very unimaginable
