But Conte speaks the truth. Unfortunately Spurs are going nowhere, there doesn't seem to be any desire from the players, every season is the same, win nothing, fall well short of 1st place, change the manager. Becoming a bit like Chelsea, although Chelsea actually won trophies. They do seem to like hiring Chelsea managers though. Maybe Tuchel next? Personally I'd like to see Poch come back, played attacking football, certainly more exciting for the fans. Harry Kane should also leave whilst he's still got a few years left before he retires. No point being a club legend if the club doesn't win anything. Look at Rashford, ok United haven't been great since he joined but 4 trophies since 2016 is still good

Everything is βtheyβ rather than βusβ when they lose but then he is claiming the credit when they win. They play dreadful football for a supposedly big six team which really is unacceptable as well

Says a lot about an underachieving club though.

Says a lot about an underachieving club though. Glad he said it, Levy needs to stop turning the Club into the sports equivalent of Thorpe Park with all these amenities like racing tracks and NFL pitches and concerts. I know Levy's trying to tart up the club prior to sale, perhaps he thinks Arab investors will like the package he's selling. But Conte has form for a patchy performance, like the Streetdecks on the 329 Ask any Chelsea fan who saw a similar meltdown before the end. I know he's been through a lot with bereavements, family back in Italy, ageing squad (why are they giving Dier a new contract?), but it's not Arriva's fault you left the shopping on the bus... he needs to take part of the responsibility himself. Levy's an Accountant at the end of the day, he thought he'd hired a top manager to get results, but in Conte, from the off, I saw more of a desire to quit when things don't go his way, like my daughter doing her Mathletics for school that Burnley game will always stand out, when he seemed to asked to be fired. This is more of the same, perhaps he knows Levy will find it a tough task to get the next if he implies it's Tottenham's doing, the Spursy way of life. Having been in their IT department at Lilywhite House, you can see the money swilling around, and I am sure there's ambition there, having spent Β£170m on players in the latest transfer window. Though we seem to use FirstGroup's business model of using tired coaches and quitting when things get tough. There's talk of returning to Pochettino, I think he'd to well to stay away, as Levy didn't completely back him either. Spurs are hard to define, like an LT on the W4, we like to make life difficult for ourselves Conte's comment of 20 years, the same result where they don't win anything, with the same owner will go down like a cup of cold sick... Levy will no doubt get Paratici to replace Conte with whoever is keen to take over as Head of Year in this failing Academy Papers put the boot in... It never rains but it pours

What a match between Fulham and Manchester United. 3 red cards in one match. Willian looked guilty as he was trying to plead his innocence even though it hit his hand and then Mitrovic with the push to the ref

Mitrovic should really get a tough ban like at least 4 matches. As for United they were poor up until that point and Mitrovic's behavior handed the game to them. Fulham could have won the game and potentially beat Brighton setting up a City v Fulham final

I'm glad the referee handed out the Mitrovic red card without any hesitation, should he have not done that it'd be the start of that behaviour becoming more common.

It never rains but it pours Spurs are becoming Dier, however Daniel Levy risks turning into Henry VIII as he keeps chopping and changing, with Conte being his third marriage since 2019. The problem with Tottenham is that they keep changing managers too often, which means that there is a lack of unity in the club. Conte plays boring football, other teams like Man City are signing younger players like Haaland who have more potential in their career. Arsenal, both Manchester clubs and Liverpool will all strengthen their squads next season which means that Spurs will be left behind, most likely in the Europa League next season. Arsenal winning the league and Spurs missing out on CL will be the biggest embarrassment for Spurs in the last 5-10 years

Not again! π Wonder if they'll appoint him permanently but he's more of a manager to save a club from relegation which I believe that Palace can and should be aiming higher. But because he's been there before and kept them up I guess it's not a bad choice. At least it's not Sam Allardyce

At least it's not Sam Allardyce If he keeps them up then the decision is vindicated, Michael Carrick has been mooted long term if Middlesbrough don't go up.
