Not again! 😂 Wonder if they'll appoint him permanently but he's more of a manager to save a club from relegation which I believe that Palace can and should be aiming higher. But because he's been there before and kept them up I guess it's not a bad choice. At least it's not Sam Allardyce If he keeps them up then the decision is vindicated, Michael Carrick has been mooted long term if Middlesbrough don't go up. Is this his third stint at the club? Maybe I'm wrong but he seems to leave then keeps coming back a few months later

Maybe I'm wrong but he seems to leave then keeps coming back a few months later What it shows is a lack of ambition and planning under Parish at Palace. I thoroughly maintain that Vieira should of not been sacked and that they'd of got enough points from their upcoming run of fixtures - in fact, I'd go further and say if Palace actually made money available to buy a decent striker in January, they'd be nowhere near the relegation fight. It's very telling that the majority of the Palace fanbase were against both the sacking of Vieira and the hiring of Hodgson. Carrick is doing a superb job at Middlesborough but he has been only been there a short period and should carry on the good work rather than effectively "do a Lampard" and move so quick into his career.

Maybe Roy's trying to achieve 50 years as a football manager - only 3 years to go! I do feel bad for Palace fans, suppose they survive and they give him a new contract, Palace might be in a relegation battle by Christmas! Other teams around them must be jumping for joy! It's like trading your Windows 11 computer only to buy a Windows 7 one instead!

talksport.com/football/1368501/tottenham-sack-antonio-conte-manager-press-conference/Could it be the end of the road for Conte at Tottenham? I wouldn't sack him now, I'd certainly wait until the end of the season, but rumours are increasing that he's going to go during the international break. Whilst Daniel Levy's around Spurs won't achieve any success or trophies and I don't blame Conte for his outburst. Tottenham just isn't the right club for him. Just to clarify, that this is currently speculation, and he has NOT been sacked by Tottenham

Whilst Daniel Levy's around Spurs won't achieve any success or trophies and I don't blame Conte for his outburst. Tottenham just isn't the right club for him. Just to clarify, that this is currently speculation, and he has NOT been sacked by Tottenham Conte has to shoulder blame as well: He knew full well what he was getting into when accepting the job at Spurs - Spurs aren't known for being traditionally big spenders and Levy is well known for being a right so & so only interested in himself and nothing else. He can't hide behind any excuse that he didn't know what he was getting into because most people could of told him that. His tactics are dreadful which results in some utterly dross football being displayed, no wonder many Spurs fans don't want to watch them. Any team in the traditional big six in England should have no excuses playing good football and being successful with it given the talent on offer in those squads (Ten Hag will find that out in due course, relying on counter attacking football will only get you so far) His in game management is poor. Take the Southampton game for example - they are 3-1 up with 15 minutes left and he is just bringing on defensive options inviting Southampton on to them when he should of just killed the game and got the 3 points settled. This is the difference between him and the Pep's, Artetas, Klopps etc - they take risks to kill games, he doesn't They spent £159m in the summer window - that is more than I can remember any Spurs manager being able to spend (makes the job of Pochettino even more remarkable when you think of it). That is roughly £10m less than my lot spent and we are top and they are battling for 4th. Almost all of the signings are Conte type signings except for Spence which is widely rumoured as a club decision but again, Conte could of walked if he knew they were signing people he didn't want but he stayed because he is motivated by pay out's from being sacked. They also had the lure of Champions League football, something we couldn't match at Arsenal.

I'd be very surprised if he stayed beyond the end of the season, Palace's next six games are all against fellow relegation candidates.

Ridiculous knee jerk reaction pointless choice. They now have easier teams to have face, so was pointless in sacking Viera, for a has been manager. They have no direction and would end up being relegated this or next season. At least teams like Newcastle, Brighton & Hove are striving to push for the top of the table.

Did Steve Parish forget that Roy Hodgson got Watford relegated last season I wonder?

Would love to see Conte's face right now Perhaps the Southampton rant inspired Kane to push on. Smashing performance from such a 'selfish' player

The Bayern sacking of Julian Nagelsmann has got to be one of the strangest decision ever. There must have been something gone on behind scenes surely. Thoughts?

Well Bayern are currently second in the Bundesliga, one point behind Dortmund, so I guess that's a crisis by their standards🤣. Apparently they've been after Thomas Tuchel for sometime so maybe something has happened behind the scenes? I wonder how Pep is feeling about facing TT again in the CL?

Probably Daniel Levy messing around on social media. He did this with Pedro Porro too just to throw people off the scent when making a last minute transfer. Can't be a coincidence I saw Julian on Ee25 on the 230 at Tottenham Hale this afternoon. Advised him to change at the bus garage for a 149 or 259 to the Stadium

Reports have come out that he went skiing in one of the breaks when his players were back at the club training. Plus there were two other reasons but they just sounded like they wanted him gone and looked for reasons why
