Currently on SP206 on the H98. An E8 driver in VW1394 decided to mount the kerb at the Bell and squeeze between us and a lamppost to get by. I understand traffic is awful and which can cause stress, but that doesn't excuse dangerous driving like that... It's not the first driver I've seen doing that though, some drivers of other routes do clip it too. Worst one I was on recently was driver of LT992 on the 267 who almost successfully tipped the bus clipping a kerb coming out of the London Road roundabout.

I had a 285 driver almost tip the bus over by not braking on a very wet slippery road (around Heathrow), presumably because he was in a 17-reg hybrid rocket rather than its usual ISA restricted 20-reg MMCs. There’s enjoying a non-ISA bus and then there’s being utterly downright dangerous. He either had his foot fully on the throttle or the brake, not slowing down right until the last minute with full brake force. In torrential rain as well may I add. It’s the first time I’ve genuinely feared for my safety on a bus

It’s the first time I’ve genuinely feared for my safety on a bus I once had a 366 driver turn so sharply at Beckton he turned into the 173 stand (from Stop B might I add!) and the bus was shaking, could have been worse in torrential rain. Honestly some drivers don't seem to pay much attention to rain and drive at the same speeds instead of being a little more careful. I'm not asking to drive at 5mph, but pelting a bus to its limits whilst it's absolutely pouring (especially with turns etc.) is not safe. I wonder if GreenRoad (a system used by Stagecoach to check how carefully you drive, link below) needs to be used on more buses as it's getting somewhat ridiculous at this point. greenroad.com/case-studies/stagecoach/

Driving standards seem to vary from those running early, driving at snail's pace to increase headway, to those who might chuck the bus around as if it was an Ibiza FR... I see more buses with as many dents as Rishi Sunak's ego after the Supreme Court's Rwanda ruling
