The Conspiracy theorist in me thinks the LTN's were put there to route the traffic on to the main roads so there is no need to put cameras on the little roads for the ULEZ to work đď¸đ I think the limit for Petrol vehicles isn't too bad but at the same time realistically the majority of people driving polluting older Petrol cars are probably people who cannot afford a newer car , however I think Euro 6 for Diesels is very silly , You could have a 7 year old car or van or fleet of vans and now won't be able to drive if you or your business is poorer within the inner circle roads , when you could of saved your hard earned cash and been told by the government a few years back that Diesels were the way forward , seems a very backwards policy from a mayor who is for the "Working Class" Londoners however pollution isn't getting any better so I guess something has to be done but I think maybe they could of extended the limit for Diesels maybe Euro 5 and for Petrols Euro 3 and had like a Zone 1 with the higher standards to be met by the current ULEZ zone and a Zone 2 with the relaxed limits but I personally think within the next few years the whole M25 will be ULEZ . It is nothing more than an excuse to make money. Total BS from the mayor even down to some pathetic advert I heard on the radio featuring some drivel from a cardiovascular person or whatever about the ULEZ bringing down emissions and making it easier now for people in London. Total absolute hogwash. Only sheep would believe that. Agreed , they are even talking now about a charge to enter London from outside the M25 and moving Canary Wharf into Zone 1 don't know how that would work .

If they were to take that one step further by making every area within the M25 come under ULEZ that wouldn't surprise me. I also wouldn't be surprised if they revisit the congestion charge again deep in the future.

As someone previously pointed out on here. I genuinely feel as though this is a money making scheme as opposed to it being a deterrent.

He could not do that even if the mayor wanted to as not all inside the M25 is London under his jurisdiction.

I guess with this they would use the LEZ boundary what was set up in 2007 by Ken Livingstone for buses, coaches and HGV's

I wonder if there's existing cameras on the LEZ boundary *Ignore this post* just realised there's cameras on the boundary.

With the ULEz being proposed to being extended to all of London would diesels have to be withdrawn or are will they allowed in it?

Iâve heard whispers that the ULEZ was being the North and South Circular Road to all of London by 2023. www.rac.co.uk/drive/news/air-quality/ulez-expansion-to-cover-whole-of-greater-london/

If expanded for cars the same euro6 requirements for diesels will apply Donât have to dispose of older diesels, just pay a charge on days they are used
