I would go further and say if he is directly implicated he needs to resign. I won't go that far, but if his involvement is substantial and proven then I agree he should resign. A resignation would be a bit OTT, and would not solve anything.

Not a surprise. It is the same thing that local councils have been doing for years to implement things like LEZ, CPZ, parking restrictions etc. 90% corrupt and dishonest tactics. Opposition to the London-wide ULEZ is already a big problem for Khan's Mayoralty, if allegations of manipulation or corruption are proven this could affect his chances of standing for a third term in 2024. I very much doubt it, London has changed a lot. Khan could run down the street naked or do anything he wants and he would still win. People in London are one track minded when it comes to voting, Labour party to them is a football team like supporting Manchester United. Remember the days of many people "glory hunting" supporting Man U

Another thing I remember which he lied about was the crossrail project saying he did not know about the delays etc when he clearly did. 90% of politicians are corrupt and useless across almost every party. One of their reasons for going into politics in the first place.

Do you agree with her suggestions? I somehow believe that speeding up Zero Emission buses is better than expanding the ULEZ. But ofc comes down to govt funding!

ULEZ is expected to cost somewhere in the region of £200m, there are far better ways as demonstrated to spend that investment that would have a much longer and widening affect on pollution in London. ULEZ is nothing more on than a tax that will have no impact on pollution. Perhaps in the mayor was giving out 40% pay rises in city hall there wouldn’t be a need for more government funding.

According to our MP, 4 councils are seriously considering taking Khan to court over this vanity project.

As ULEZ requires road markings as well as cameras to be valid, who envisages a rise in paint and paintbrush sales?

Why escorted out? Doesn’t the guy have a democratic right to protest, just like the climate terrorists?

Why escorted out? Doesn’t the guy have a democratic right to protest, just like the climate terrorists? Because Sadiq Khan believes that his opinion is right and everyone else's are wrong

Why escorted out? Doesn’t the guy have a democratic right to protest, just like the climate terrorists? It depends on her conduct (I haven't watched the clip). Protesting is fair enough, but using abusive or threatening language or behaviour should not be tolerated.

Frankly Khan should back down and retool his money grabbing schemes.

"2m km of new buses now" what the heck is he on about ? The Driver didn't quite word it "properly" what they wanted to say but it made perfect sense not just for "Essex" but for everyone in outer boroughs now is not the time to put it in and also eventually I am assuming the limits will change so euro 3 will then go to euro 4 and so on and so forth for petrol vehicles ? In the coming years ? If this was so important Ban the Vehicles not charge them .

Again this goes back to the analogy I posted on here a few weeks back about the employee treating their overtime salary as a base salary.
