May have been to send a C&H train to Ealing Common Depot, it may have had some issues. Likewise for the H&C train changing from a Barking terminator to an Upminster terminator, to reach Upminster Depot. The Ealing Broadway train was a regular scheduled working, I caught it several times. Also during the engineering work when the H&C trains were extended, they left Hammersmith showing Hammersmith & City Line - Upminster. I assume this was before Sep 2021 when WTT152 was introduced on the District - which withdrew the post-AM peak C&H Ealing Common stabler. Yep the H&C being extended to Upminster occurs during certain engineering works - was referring to another post however.

Also, does anyone know what speed the S Stock now does between Farringdon and Kings Cross? I thought they were all limited to 40 but we were clearly travelling much faster than that. maximum 52mph eastbound 55mph westbound. 40mph was for legacy signalling and trainstops. Notting Hill-High Street westbound is 53mph. as posted previously Bromley-by-Bow - Becontree is now temporarily maximum 56mph. Noticeably faster journeys on my journeys from Bromley to Barking now , train seems to fly in either direction but especially between Upton Park and Plaistow I got 55 mph on my speedometer app when the temp speed gets lifted will we expect speeds of up to 62mph ? Roll on SMA7 ,

I suppose I'm theory they should be able to just say this a "blank" service to Xxx or this is the train to Xxx .

District Line to Hammersmith really shouldn't be displayed as most will assume it goes via Tower Hill and Westminster. I'd display District Line to Aldgate East up to Barking then H&C to Hammersmith.

Roll on SMA7 56 is likely to be the maximum for a while, this will of course impact the further CBTC extension onto the Metropolitan Line. Can trains display H&C to Upminster ? Or District to Hammersmith then ? District to Hammersmith (meaning District & Piccadilly station) yes, not H&C station. ”Upminster Hammersmith & City Line” not possible.

SMA 7 authorised for passenger use from 1400 today 19 March, has been running without passengers since 1400 yesterday. seems to be a successful weekend all in all. I remember previously when they said there would be a service after a certain time and then it something went wrong so went part suspended I was thinking this might happen again but thankfully not the case.

Will there be a new timetable for the District Line soon or has it already started...

Pleasantly surprised to see it has all gone well this weekend, I will admit I was skeptical of the plans for SMA7... we shall see it in full force tomorrow morning whether it can handle a morning peak at Upminster Depot! As a result of the signalling commissioning (along with the opening of the Elizabeth Line through the core), the District line will see far fewer east end closures. There may be the odd few due to Network Rail engineering works along the c2c. will there be a frequency increase or just timings will be changed Nothing particularly exciting of the sort.

I was at Barking this morning and thinking (although it would never happen ) they need to close Barking for about two weeks have a blockade or something and just throw lots of builders at it and do a major refurb 😂 , Some of the ground on the Platforms is uneven and need leveling out , there is still Network South East signage which stopped existing basically 30 years ago , it's dark and dinghy in some parts , the subways are rotten and need more than a pick of paint , it's like a relic from the 80s I know there are some 60s themed stations maybe that is what they are going for with Barking , but even with the refurbishment that is taking place upstairs it's still a very tired very pre 1990s station could do with a big refurb .
