Sadiq Khan pledging to introduce a new Golders Green to Stamford Hill single deck bus route if re-elected. Mention of the 210 as I assume it would parallel it or be part of it in some way.
This would link up two of London's largest Jewish communities.

I assume this would likely be a new separate route to the 210, though I don’t believe there is demand to just parallel the 210 unless the 210 really needs the extra capacity from this new route. I think 310 is a sensible route number & Arriva could operate the route from SF.

The new route would HAVE to be a single decker due to the low bridge at Finsbury Park!

This would link up two of London's largest Jewish communities. This is one of those links that people have been asking for for ages, but the numbers never added up. A single-deck service that just parallels the 210 would be rather wasteful, and I'd hate to see the DD 210 reduced to compensate for this. I hope that the 210 is referenced purely because the campaigns for this link were always based on tweaking the 210. But this does provide an opportunity to open up some new links instead. So long as the route links GG with Stamford Hill, it will meet the campaigners' wishes even if it takes a different route to the 210 in between.
Now where did I put that box of crayons?

Really not a fan of Sadiq using the election to bribe London with new bus routes. If there is demand on these corridors for these services they should be looking to introduce the routes regardless.
He maybe needs to start looking at other issues away from buses.
I will probably get shot down in flames.

The way I see TFL going about it, given the 210 has been mentioned, is the 210 being increased in frequency and converted to single deck. Cut back to Golders Green and extended to Stamford Hill. Then something else tweaked/extended to cover the Brent Cross section.

With the Brent Cross section could the 102 be re routed?

It's not a bribe. It's policies. People vote for policies. You don't get them without voting for said politician. To suggest it is, is absurd. "They" should be looking to introduce these services? TfL is an organisation with democratic oversight by an elected Mayor. Elected politicians are going to decide the strategy through the Mayor's Transport Strategy. Sadiq has done announcements recently on violence against women, police, council housing, jobs and much more. Keep up dear! I personally think it's great buses are getting some attention

No pledges to cut crime, improve traffic and improve road speeds which would help buses... he posted on FB about "Taking Back Control" (politicians love this phrase for some reason) and making one single operator run all the buses. (Though if ever there's an industrial dispute with said single entity it would mean NO BUSES anywhere for the period of that strike ) This from a guy who runs about in an armoured car and rarely uses the buses

Can’t the Road at Finsbury Park be lowered?

Can’t the Road at Finsbury Park be lowered? Theoretically possible, yes. Probably practically not though. There's more than likely some form of drainage under the road so that would need to be lowered first which means digging up and tunnelling through a surrounding area before the road then gets lowered considerably to allow a bus under it. Then you have all the street adjustments that would be needed so it's going to be a non-starter.
