Yes there are a few working where the driver does Basildon - Chelmsford - Lakeside - Chelmsford - Basildon also if they are running late depending on how late they are they will continue to gray's or stock, eg Basildon - Chelmsford - Grays - Basildon, A driver explained it to me ages ago at Chelmsford once when he was on stand. Talking about those 12M Volvo B7RLE's, they don't half move got one on my 551 home from work today and they hit 30 in no time but then again they have 250 HP:) Yes the 100 does seem a long route but I've only bashed from Basildon to Lakeside and it took almost an hour to get to Grays. I suppose routes like the 2, 25A/B and 200 would be extremely hard to learn. There's a particular section of the Citi7 in Cambridge which has a difficult section if your new to the route. After Duxford War Musuem, the Citi7 turns down a narrow road which has a mini roundabout and uses this roundabout to turn around to return to Cambridge. Went down there on a ALX300 which is 12m and the road is too narrow for it - to negoiate the roundabout succesfully, you have to do a bit of reversing.

The 7 has been changed a lot earlier in the month, it no longer goes into the War Museum and the journey that used to terminate at Duxford Village has been cut back to Sawston , however one journey per hour does still serve Duxford Village but continues Saffron Walden, so guess that reversing is no longer needed.

I've been in Kent for the past year, and I think their routes must be quite complicated when first learning them.
There are a lot of routes going down very narrow lanes, and many routes having no option but to reverse at certain points. Full-size single and double decks are often used on routes like these aswell, so the skills of the drivers are really tested. There are also many route variations on routes. So there is plenty to keep the enthusiast interested!
Not only that, but drivers can often drive up to 2 or 3 routes in one shift due to Stagecoach's very complicated route inter-working.

Ive always wanted to do the 11 (what was the 622), as i wanted to get a picture with the destination "Plucks Gutter" but never got round to it, now it goes through to Broadstairs i cannot do that, but i think it will be good on a decker still.

Done the whole route lots of times now and it takes around 2 Hour's, if anyone is free on a sunday I suggest you try it as you can use all of First Essex's services for £2.80 (Not the X30), Yes I agree with you about them hitting the kerb its quite anoying and it is my one pet hate with drivers unless there is no avoiding it, I have it all the time on my 551

Yes, i'd recommend that one! Plenty of narrow country roads, and has to reverse at the nice little village Wickhambreaux. You also get to pass Kent International Airport (where no one gets on or off lol), and also there is a 'level crossing' going over one of the aeroplane roads. Plenty of other routes to recommend, but I wont do that here ;D Done the whole route lots of times now and it takes around 2 Hour's, if anyone is free on a sunday I suggest you try it as you can use all of First Essex's services for £2.80 (Not the X30), Yes I agree with you about them hitting the kerb its quite anoying and it is my one pet hate with drivers unless there is no avoiding it, I have it all the time on my 551 Not just all of First's services, but any bus service in Essex . There also some better connections now Arriva's 59 (Harlow-Chelmsford) has gained a Sunday service. Sorry for being a bit off-topic.

I believe the n9 is the longest night route, and incidentally basically a straight line so easy to learn.
H28 complicated. It crosses the a4 four times.
207,427,h91 very straight forward.

I'm sure due to there size they would take care some of the turns without hitting the kerb easily.

H28 complicated. It crosses the a4 four times. I managed to learn most of that route because my driving lessons took place along various parts of the route . Also learnt it a bit by going on the route. If there is one route around this area that I have to name as being hard it is the 350. Went on it last week but don't get it at all . I think it runs through private property for a bit too (Stockley Park)

Can't have moan at them for hitting the kerb in a 12m bus though, Some NS drivers can't even drive a 9.9m Trident without hitting kerbs

Yes Last weekend was a joke, the sunday service was running extreamly bad due to the Race for life event blocking the route, my 100 turned up over an Hour late at chelmsford so ran dead to basildon had to wait another hour for one to turn up 22 late but he actually did the full route and arrived at lakeside only 8 late (was a very fun journey)

Also people actually queue up for buses unlike some in London. The buses you get from outer London may be old as the oldest I've rode so far is a L Reg Olympian on the 200 and you also get some decent speed due to nice country roads.

Quite a few scenic rural routes, great fun on double deckers banging the tree branches as they go How the drivers remember these routes, especially the ones with deviations, I don't know especially if they only do them now and again.

Far more friendly environment as well with passengers actually saying hello to the driver and saying thank you as they get off, a world away from London
