Anyone agree with my comments on there as "Dave M Busman" I wouldn't be so sure about the legal position, lets face it nobody is going to welcome noisy Volvos in their neighbourhood are they?

It seems like they are being rushed into service now, as no Arriva logos have been applied, and no TfL roundals either. As mentioned, they are very noisy as well. Perhaps they will be done when they are fully in service? - Gareth.

I think the DLAs are going to their provincial fleet - though they should keep a handful aside for the 370 as they're quick - and not as noisy Tottenham's VLAs have quietened down, such as VLA87, perhaps someone could get to Grays and do the mod on their VLAs as well - surprised it wasn't done at refurb Arriva have not done any mods to any of the VLA's, as I mentioned before, the last of the N LWB VLA's to be refurbed returned the other week and do not have the new fans.

Have you noticed vjaska the ex 337 ones sound quieter, note VLA 1 seems to of escaped the refurb treatment for some reason.

Aside from the Arriva logo at the front below the wipers - some of them have the Buses Roundel, albeit smaller than I've seen on any other London bus They are quick on the Corbet's Tey - Stifford thrash bit of the route - though I'm always a bit worried of that section near Bridge Farm in case we meet another vehicle also trying to cross the bridge at speed ;D

Travelled over to Romford to try out the VLAs on the 370 today. I got a ride on 3119 6119, which doesn't have a roaring fan. I was disappointed as I quite like the roaring sound, even if it annoys many people ;d
EDIT: Thanks DN33501. Don't know how I got the fleetnumber wrong.

Does seem odd, surprised TfL didn't add a school route - I'm sure AKT aren't keen sharing their route with a rival, even if it is for school journies
