I don't think TFL would go for a route number like that and the Optare bus would be too small.

And Optare will not supply the Bonito with blinds for local services... it is only supplied for community transport (does not show much confidence in the product...)

449 from Whitechapel to Edmonton Green (via 253 routing to Stamford Hill and 149 routing to Edmonton Green). I think it's terrible there's no direct link between Hackney and Tottenham.
Also a northern extension of the 225 through the Rotherhithe Tunnel and then left to Aldgate.

Very small buses are needed nowadays for the Rotherhithe Tunnel although that 225 extension would be useful

There is a width restriction through the Rotherhithe Tunnel which recently was narrowed even further so no chance - besides, the last route through there (the 395) was withdrawn due to it hardly being used.

No shortage of passengers on the 395 whenever I used it, I suspect too many were using it and they couldn't use any bigger buses (although RT's once went through the tunnel) and rather than increase the service they axed it.

Route 489 From Deptford Bridge to Bluewater - Deptford Bridge Station
- Shooters Hill Road/ Blackheath
- Shooters Hill
- Welling High Street
- Bexleyheath
- Gravel Hill
- A2 (EXPRESS section)
- Bean Lane
- Bluewater Shopping Centre
PVR of 10 (lower route 89's PVR from 15/16 to 10 aswell- a combined frequency of 20 on the core section). Operated from BX with spare buses (PVLs/WVLs?). The 453 would have to be extended to Lewisham to free stand space at Deptford Bridge for the 489 (not a bad thing!)

And 89 doesn't need a PVR decrease as it is always overcrowded and is also useful between Lewisham and Bexleyheath.

A PVR decrease on the 89 would mean severe overcrowding between Slade Green and Bexleyheath. Again, as I've said before, I don't think a second route between Welling and Bluewater is really needed. I'd welcome more 96s, but not really your 489, Connor. Too many compromises needed. Sorry

You can get the 85 from Kingston to Putney or Putney Bridge, then get a route from there to Hammersmith. The 85 is high-frequency aswell.
