Orpington to Croydon is needed The 353 could be extended over the T33 and the service on the T33 reduced, with a 15-minute service between Orpington and Croydon and the current service level between Addington and Croydon (i.e. 8 buses per hour between Addington and Croydon, half of them as 353s running Orpington-Croydon, half of them as T33 running Addington-Croydon). The 353 was withdrawn from Orpington in 2000, Tramlink introduction I think and the T33 replaced the withdrawn section.

Or extend the 353 back to Croydon via Coombe Lane when Tramlink is closed for works.

Why? And why a prefix route number? Now estimate the PVR and the route length to match your frequencies! To link Ladbroke Grove, Harlesden, Neasden, West Hendon, Colindale, Burnt Oak, Queensbury and Kingsbury with Uxbridge. I don't why a prefix route number. How do I estimate the PVR and route length to match my frequencies?

To link Ladbroke Grove, Harlesden, Neasden, West Hendon, Colindale, Burnt Oak, Queensbury and Kingsbury with Uxbridge. I don't why a prefix route number. How do I estimate the PVR and route length to match my frequencies? The simplest (!) way to work out the PVR is to add up the running time from the timetables of routes that your service parallels. Ideally use peak time running times to give the worst case. You need to add up both directions and do it for the AM and PM peak periods as running times can vary. Once you have added the running times you need to add some "turn round" time at each end. This will give a total round trip time (RTT). You then divide the RTT by the peak frequency and this will give you your PVR number. Clearly you cannot have a fraction of a bus so to get a round number of buses you will need to add a few minutes to the RTT to give an accurate PVR. (run time a to b) + (run time b to a) + (stand time at a) + (stand time at b) = RTT RTT rounded up / frequency = PVR When I used to take part in a London Fantasy Bus game I had all the run times and PVR for all London routes plus all the services and changes I invented. As an aside, having traced your route on a bus map, I think your route could usefully be split into two. I think it just too long. I would run it as Ladbroke Grove to either South Harrow or Northolt. The other section would be Uxbridge to Northwick Park Hospital but I would divert via Harrow Town Centre on this service as I think serving Harrow would be very popular indeed. Running both routes via Northwick Park Hospital would improve access to what will be a major hospital for lots of people.

Maybe it won't go to Victoria instead it will go to Battersea near that Chelsea Bridge where there is a road and you pass a place where you can see some trains there

It could be terminated at Vauxhall Bus Station rather than Victoria which has plenty of stand space.

However it joins the over bussed Brixton to kennington straight , could it carry on via the 37 instead to Clapham and then via 88 ?

It could but it would be more longer but the frequency of the route could be reduced from Brixton it goes to Stockwell then that road where route 2 and 89 use
