Abelio to loose Twickenham and Hayes to London United and 131 to Tolworth 85 and 213 to stay with Go-Ahead 418 would be easier if it went to London United Why should Abellio loose those Garages to London United. That's just a stupid thing to say, I get it your user name "iamabeliohater", you should not say thing like that on this forum, you even spelt the name wrong LOL. 418 is fine with Quality Line 131 is fine at Fulwell

In a way for 131 it would be abit better because the drivers would get more respect and contacts with 57 drivers and because 131 goes top Tooting where 57 goes and Kigston 418 because it is going on tender but it may be a bit stupid because it is operated by RATP Group Epsom Coaches So why should all the drivers of the 131 have to transfer to Tolworth for no reason at all? Unless major changes are happening at London United there is no need to transfer any route anywhere at the moment because all it is going to do is mess with drivers lives etc. The 418 will probably only have one competitor and that is Abellio. The 406 & 418 are fine with Quality Line as they Terminate in Epsom where the Home Garage is.

It is Abellio and *not* Abelio. It just comes across as a bit daft if you make such an elementary error.

In all seriousness , the only way LU would get anywhere near the Abellio routes for the parent company to take over Abellio.
Possible, but that wouldn't fit in with RATP Dev strategy, which focusses on smaller , high quality operations with good existing brands.
Quality Line is a good competitor for Abellio and it is perhaps a shame that Quality Line didn't get the K1 and k3, because if they had of done, some contract swaps could have seen a QL route at TV , such as the 465 , 411 or even the X26 !!

I hope I am not the only one curious about the procedures - from A-Z - involved in one operator acquiring control of another operator's routes, vehicles and garages. Thinking specifically about Metroline taking over First routes in my own area of NW London. Sorry for the slight drift. Responses by PM welcome

There would have to be some efficieny reason to do so, after all - moving drivers from Epsom to Tolworth would be a nightmare. Its not going to happen, Epsom garage has just had a multi-million pound rebuild in last few years, so unlikely to close. If anything ever happens it would be a replacement for Tolworth, which could theoretically be a RATP base with both Quality Line and London United. In reality potential sites are scarce (and expensive) but if (and it is a big if) a new garage was ever built then of course would make sence to review what operates from where

Sounds a bit stupid if you think of it. And why would Abellio want to sell any garages when they've been so successful in tendering? One thing I would have thought would happen was that when the 33 went back to FW the route should be re-extended as it was before it was lost to NCP instead of terminating in the forecourt of the Abellio side

I wish the 275 stayed with Arriva at DX, then maybe they would've operated the route better and surely they would get new buses which would be DX's first batch of Power-blinded buses but Stagecoach have done well with the route aswell.
