Nothing wrong with the 358 under Metrobus. No one could operate it better they created it so they will know it better than anyone.

I just said as it goes past TB, I saw it on the iBus yesterday. Plus I wouldn't like to see Metrobus loose more routes than they already have.

Have to disagree about the 358. Lots of bunching and curtailments and short cuts out of service, and I see it every day. I think it is too long and circuitous. Nothing against Metrobus, but you can't say one operator is best at running it because they know it the best.
In my opinion the whole network around Beckenham, Penge, Anerley and Elmers End needs a re-think.

Wouldn't go that far as to say the network around them places needs a re-think, I certainly wouldn't touch the 358 that's for sure!

I only see the 358 from crystal palace to anerley but its obvious to me that the route is suffering for whatever reason. I constantly see buses bunching from both directions, and plenty running out of service from crystal palace. A few times I seen packed buses running towards orpington in the anerley area. And between crystal palace and anerley, the traffic can be really bad sometimes. I noticed the traffic continues towards elmers end but by then I turn onto Croydon road towards norwood junction on the 157. I know theres current problems in the penge area.

I have always wanted 196 to become an Arriva London route. It goes straight pass N. Also 3 could easily be run from N.

I have always wanted 196 to become an Arriva London route. It goes straight pass N. Also 3 could easily be run from N. It should of stayed with Travel London as Connex were the ones who stabilised the route - before that under London General & Central, the route was a shambles. Buses were generally late - ranging from 5 mins to 45 mins and vehicles turned up either dirty or mechanically not looked after. Patronage was extremely low but Connex and it's 8 new Y reg Tridents sorted it out. Go-Ahead run it now ok but I've heard from people that's its unreliable during the evenings & nights. 3 to Arriva would be nice, would get some B5LH's - prefer them to Enviro 400H's.

Although Connex probably got far more resources to throw at the route after it was retendered. I've always thought the 3 would be better at Norwood and the 176 better at Q or WL

Abelio to loose Twickenham and Hayes to London United and 131 to Tolworth 85 and 213 to stay with Go-Ahead 418 would be easier if it went to London United If you are going to run a pointless hate campaign against a particular operator it would be ENORMOUSLY helpful if you knew how to spell the operator's name. It is Abellio and *not* Abelio. It just comes across as a bit daft if you make such an elementary error. Oh my goodness, he spelt it with one l instead of two. It could well have been a typo. Why must some people on here be so fastidious?

Would it not make sense if route 82 was transferred to W, so route 82 can run light the same way route 16 runs light to W from Victoria. Also, I don't think North Finchley is far from W but 82 has to do that long garage run from Victoria all the way to PB Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think there are any dead runs on the 82 between PB and Victoria.

They run dead from North Finchley rather than Victoria - that's what I've always thought anyway.
