Full height current gen E400s and all presidents were yes, Geminis and Alx400s amongst other types are 14'5. Arriva's 52-55reg ALX400 B7TL/DB250s are 14'3. VLA1-55 are 14'5'' from memory, not sure about VLA56-73, the other Arriva ALX400's are right though. Pretty sure they are 14'3, with you living in Brixton I suspect it shouldn't be too hard for you to find out?

No it was just a spec change on ADL's part ok thanks i do hope they revert back to allowing the bus to kneel with the doors open. It is actually a customer spec. You can choose wheter the bus kneels with the doors open or not, I think this is one spec that some operators miss when ordering the buses. Speaking to a senior person at TfL surface transport recently who said it was a daft idea not to allow buses to kneel with the doors open (hence the NRM's all kneel with the doors open, in crew mode they can be glitchy though).

I don't suppose TfL could introduce that as a mandatory spec setting on all buses, including existing ones that already don't kneel when opened. I have seen plenty of this happen with the 12/61 reg E200s on the 152...a route that goes into heavily residential areas (Pollards Hill/Western Road) with plenty of OAPs and buggies.

When is the new Enviro 200MMC set to be launched?? Buses magazine said it would be unveiled this autumn. Most likely at the upcoming Eurobus Expo show at the NEC in early November. ADL are a partner at the show so I'd expect them to have a big stand.
