345's used to display 'Battersea Bridge Road, Howie Street' but was later changed to 'Battersea Bridge, South Side' like all other routes passing.
Also, 'Wandsworth, Arndale' was changed to 'Wandsworth, Southside Shopping Centre' then to 'Wandsworth'.
EDIT: Thanks for Vjaska for correcting the 'Howie Road' mistake, I confused myself with Hester Road!

I think its because Catford Garage isn't actually located in Catford but located in Bellingham so the blinds were probably changed for the destination to be more accurate. Happy to be corrected though. Well they share the same post code, so I personally wouldn't mind. But I'm sure there's someone out there who would want it to be as accurate as possible. A lot of people don't know where Bellingham is, it is part of Catford both under the SE Post code. Bellingham is the area, but the garage is named Catford Bus Garage, putting Bellingham was a sensible idea up to today a lot of people still don't know which part of SE6 Bellingham is in.

Catford(TL) has been there since 1914, will it now be renamed 'Bellingham Garage' to suit the postcode?

Catford is a more well known name than Bellingham. I've always known it as Catford Bus Garage. The garage Code TL also stands for Tillings Lewisham. This actually reminds me of the 349. iBus states Ponders End, Bus Garage, but the Garage is named Enfield. Clapton Garage is in Hackney, confused as to why it was named Clapton. Walworth Garage isn't even in Walworth it is in Camberwell. I'm guessing it was named that as not to confuse with Camberwell Bus Garage.

The Bull pub on Shooters Hill is still alive and well. A few that occur to me:
When the 70 terminated at Lewisham, the blinds said 'LEWISHAM Riverdale Centre'. Not sure when the Riverdale name was dropped.
The Greenwich stand on the 1A at least was blinded as 'GREENWICH Seamans Hospital'.
The 1 used to display 'NEW OXFORD ST Centre Point' rather than Tottenhan Court Road (never entirely happy with the use of TCR personally as the 1 doesn't actually serve the road).
I think the Red Lion Square stand was known as BLOOMSBURY when used by the 7.
The stand in Blackheath Village used by the 386 was known simply as BLACKHEATH for a while until it was acknowledged that this could be confusing, although I think it's still called that by short working 89s and 202s.

Is the old 'Tottenham Swan' still 'Tottenham High Cross'? 'Tottenham Bus Garage' would be more fitting I think.

A while ago, the BK turn was displayed as "Barking Garage" but now they display "Fair Cross" after the nearby Junction between South Park Drive, Upney Lane and Longbridge Road Took them long enough! The only time I've seen 'Fair Cross' as a destination was a photo of the publicity launch of the RT taken in the Aldwych, plated up as a '9' with Fair Cross as its destination. Sorry can't remember which publication it was in.

Sorry can't remember which publication it was in. Unfortunately, the correct spelling is Faircross- it was used as a qualifier by Ensign back when they operated the 62 (showing Barking FAIRCROSS. Incidentally, the bus stop opposite the garage has been renamed "Barking Bus Garage" with the old Upney Lane stop (the Royal Oak/Barking Abbey School side) has been renamed Faircross. Similar to this, Becontree Bennetts Castle Lane became Longbridge Road (Bennetts Castle Lane) and I believe now is just plain old Bennetts Castle Lane (to be honest, I've not seen the turn used for a while on the 5/145)
