Extend the 399 to Barnet Hospital via Stapylton Road and the A411. The route would then serve Spires, Barnet Hospital bound only. With the Hadley Wood direction going via the High Street. The 389 would then become an independent route. At the bottom of Beech Hill the 399 would be rerouted to go: A111 - Ferny Hill - Chase Farm Hospital - Gordon Hill The route would be changed to run half hourly from 6:30 - 20:30 The route could be branded as a 'Hospital Link' service (Barnet Hospital - Spires - Hadley Wood - Chase Farm Hospital - Gordon Hill) KEY: Red: Existing route Black: Proposed I think the 399 used to go to Barnet Hospital when it was first introduced, before the 389 existed and it interworked with it. My suggestion would be to run via the rear of The Spires both ways, or at least via Stapylton Road, Salisbury Road and Barnet High Street towards Hadley Wood. This is because a lot of elderly people use this bus to shop at Waitrose and they should be near a bus stop for their return journey with shopping. Then we would have to think about the routing through Hadley Wood to get as close as possible to the station while covering as many of the residential areas as possible and without double runs in the same direction. My suggestion would be: Beech Hill Ave loop as now but in both directions - Crescent East - Lancaster Ave - Duchy Road - Waggon Road - Cockfosters Road. Obviously this would still all be hail-and-ride so not too far to walk to Hadley Wood station. Although going the full length of Lancaster Road might be preferable as more houses than Waggon Road?

Ideally I would suggest the following: <snip> H12: Extend Stanmore to Elstree, Centennial Park Instead of Route 324. 324: Stanmore - Brent Cross West Once development is finished, be good extension. Do not extend to Elstree, Centennial Park. <snip> The 324 is half the frequency of the H12 so extending the 324 to Centennial Park requires fewer resources.

Ideally I would suggest the following: Route 10: Hammersmith - Archway Original Route, Covering Route 390 to Archway like Route 10, has previously done. Route 73: Extend Oxford Circus to Victoria Covering Current Route 390. Route 390: Discontinued Route 23: Wembley Stadium - Lancaster Gate Previously on consultations. Wembley Stadium Stonebridge Park Craven Park Harlesden Kensal Green Ladbroke Grove Westbourne Grove Paddington Lancaster Gate Could also Introduce a Night Route N23: Wembley Stadium - Hammersmith Following on from Lancaster Gate: Marble Arch Oxford Circus Picadilly Circus Haymarket (Following N97) Green Park Hyde Park Corner Knightsbridge South Kensington Earls Court West Brompton Charing Cross Hospital Hammersmith (N97) N97: Discontinued 340: Harrow - Kingsbury Circle Merged with Route 303 from Edgware 303: Discontinued H12: Extend Stanmore to Elstree, Centennial Park Instead of Route 324. 324: Stanmore - Brent Cross West Once development is finished, be good extension. Do not extend to Elstree, Centennial Park. 258: Wembley Central - Watford Junction Like its previous proposal, but to keep the route to Watford Junction. Covering Route H17. H17: Discontinued I did like the old 10 and the 73, and i wish they were back. But not likely i guess. I think your H12 and 324 proposals are really good in fact. Link sthe business parks to harrow weald, pinner and south harrow, which is more useful than 324 links imo. With the 23, i like the route but i would change at the western end, so it serve church road neasden station and underpass and brent park, then maybe extend to wembley. The 340 is the only one i disagree, just because of the route that its merged with. prefer the 384 tbh. 258 route looks good but it would continue straight on harrow hill and not turn to serve south harrow. The 324 is extending to the business park because it’s the next suitable place to turn around as the purpose of the extension is to serve the hospital from the Stanmore direction so not extending means your denying people an important hospital link. I’ve yet to hear any actual benefits of merging the 258 & H17 besides the obvious double decker conversion which can be achieved without such a move. I don’t think the disadvantages of merging both routes had been thought through.

N65 and N97 withdrawn and a new N71 between Chessington and Trafalgar Square via N97 between TSQ and Hammersmith, 110 to Richmond and then as N65 to Chessington.
New N148 between Richmond and Camberwell via 207 to Ealing and then N65 to Richmond from Shepherd’s Bush
N71 is to create new links from inner West London similar to South London’s version N89
N148 is to introduce new Central Links from Ealing alongside route N207 and replace part route N65

I do understand the N207 is sufficient however the sole purpose was to introduce the missing night link withdrawn from the N65 between Ealing Broadway and Richmond, and I thought an N148 would be better than just having the 65 as 24 hours. If that’s what you mean If you were talking about the N71, I do think the 110 routing would get more patronage and is slightly similar to the N65’s already, and doesnt have a night service. The 190’s routing im not sure would get much through the night and is quite longer, but a good idea throughout. Perhaps the N27 to Richmond via the 190?

I certainly would've enjoyed it if the extension was via the A3 to Hook first.

Never got to travel on that one as it had already been cut back to Roehampton by the time I started exploring night buses.

487: extended from Willesden Junction to Hammersmith via route 228 to Old Oak Road, Askew Road and route 218 to Hammersmith. Diverted between Central Middlesex Hospital and Western Avenue via Victoria Road and route 440 to Central Middlesex Hospital. To link Park Royal with Hammersmith. Converted to double deck. (This is providing that the low bridge at East Acton is removed).

New route operating between Hayes and Harlington station and Barnes Wetland Centre
For the sake of giving it a number, I've gone with 408
Start: Hayes and Harlington station Route 140 to Hayes Sainsbury's Route 607 to Southall Broadway Route 195 to Brentford County Court Route 237 to Kew Bridge South Circular Road to Chalkers Corner Route 419 to Mortlake Route 378 to Rocks Lane Route 485 to the Wetlands Centre
I've put this here because there's absolutely no way that this bus route would exist, since it's far too long of a route.
