299 to Potters Bar via. Trent Park 299 to Crouch Hill via. Alexandra Park Road 307 to Elstree & Borhamwood via. Sterling Corner 125 to Edmonton Green via. Palmers Green 317 to North Finchley via. Oakwood and Southgate 158 to Dagenham ASDA via. East Ham and Barking 238 to Rainham Station via. Dagenham 287 to London City Airport via. Beckton 147 to Thamesmead via. London City Airport, North Woolwich and Gallions Reach Bridge Sorry if I'm being dumb, but how does the: 299 get to Crouch Hill; 317 get to North Finchley. The 299 already uses Alexandra Park Road so not sure what you mean?? North Finchley is many miles from both Southgate and Oakwood, so how does it get there?? There is no need to have the 125 go to Edmonton Green as this section is covered already by the 329 and 102 respectively. Duplication over sections of other routes would be very expensive and pointless if all it does is create direct connections over routes that are not over-crowded. I made a mistake. via. Park Road 317 via. Oakwood, Southgate, Arnos Grove, New Southgate & Friern Barnet

What would the PVR be to get buses from Waltham Cross to North Finchley. I don't believe there is stand space at North Finchley.

Discontinue the H14. Extend the 187 from Central Middlesex Hospital to Hatch End via Abbey Road - Stonebridge Park - Harrow Road - Wembley - Crawford Avenue - Harrowdene Road - North Wembley - East Lane - Watford Road - Northwick Park Hospital - H14. Withdraw the 7 between Brunel Road and East Acton Station and divert it to Ealing Broadway via 70 and 207. Extend the 395 from Westway Cross to Perivale Medway Estate via Greenford Road - Horsenden Road North - Melville Avenue - Whitton Avenue East - Bridgewater Road - Alperton - Ealing Road - Glacier Way - Alperton Sainsbury's - Athlon Road - Manor Farm Road - Bilton Road - Horsenden Road South - Perivale Station - double run via Teignmouth Gardens and Bideford Avenue to Perivale Tesco - Welland Gardens. Extend the 235 from Great West Quarter to Ealing Broadway via the 65. I think the 65_needs to be x6 mins frequency Mon-Sat and x8 Sundays. And double deck the 235. The 65 either needs a frequency increase or a helping hand by having another route giving it assistance. Agreed the 235 does need double decks. More from me: Reroute the 607 between Ealing Hospital and Hayes Grapes via Greenford Road - Greenford Broadway - Ruislip Road - Hayes by-pass.

There is also the longer, but more 'new linky' alternative of sending the 337 up from Richmond to either Brentford or Ealing via the 65. Moz

I might upset some people but when it comes to extensions/cuts/withdrawls, could we have a rule where people MUST state the reason as to why they are making that change in the first place.

I hope there's a PVR increase for the 317 if this goes ahead

129 to Old Street, via the Blackwall Tunnel, EIDR, Commercial Road, Aldgate, Commercial Street and Great Eastern Street. As well as a new cross-river bus link it gives a new direct link from the City, Stepney and Poplar to the Peninsula and central Greenwich (the link to the former may be better used as the DLR shadows the latter along part of the route, and it is a long-ish way round). Though if the extension to Peckham actually came to light the route may well be too long to manage the lot reliably.
It should not suffer as badly as the 108 with cross-tunnel congestion as it only joins at the tunnel mouth either side rather than sitting in traffic all the way up the A102 to Bromley-by-Bow.
[edit: I note that the route is now officially DD, which I had neglected to check and puts a scupper on that idea. Oh well!]

How long would you anticipate that route taking? Well the section between East Greenwich and Bell Green will have lots of traffic hotspots. Wimbledon and New Malden (The Fountain) has its fair share of traffic too. I'm not too sure on the other sections of the proposed route, but my guess is that it could take up to 3 - 4 hours. Even if it does have limited stops or not.
