What an idiot - what with breaking his leg mountain biking before, I would not have gone near a bike until this season was over.
If this is true (and not just an excuse) he threw away his (IMO) only chance of being the World Champion. I can't see Webber being this competitive again....

Well it could be 50:50 that it could be the cause of him not winning the title there were also a few incidents he had during the season, E.G the slipstream that he attempted in Valencia that went horribly wrong. |

Yesterday i purchased the 2010 F1 review DVD. Does anyone know who the commentators are? There are two different ones. One commentates on what happens in Practice/Qualifying. The other (Ben i think) commentates for the race. Also, what does everyone think of the team orders ban being lifted? ;D Thanks  |

The other (Ben i think) commentates for the race. Also, what does everyone think of the team orders ban being lifted? ;D Thanks Commentators in F1 2010? Didn't hear any as I don't hear anyone speaking during the race just my advisor.. Lol about the team orders, it will still be used but not as bait as they did this season and wonder how Ferrari will cope without team orders and you know how bait they used them in Germany. |

Not certain on this - Coulthard has not exactly set the world alight with his pundit duties thus far, in fact i'd say EJ is the highlight of the pre and post segments.

In fact, I find DC a little bit boring....ok, very boring. Surely they could have found a better team than them?? Saying that, they used to travel together for races when DC was a driver if I remember rightly and are very good friends. Might have been part of the reason why they chose them two |

I'm cautiously optimistic about the new commentary pair. There were times last season when Brundle was the lead commentator anyway so he shouldn't find that promotion too difficult. DC fills the 'ex-driver' #2 commentator with far more recent experience than Brundle. They are also good friends as has been mentioned and on the occasions when they have done the grid walk together appear to have good on screen chemistry. I think the new commentary team will be miles better than the old one

I think the new commentary team will be miles better than the old one I'm a big fan of Martin but I'm a bit sceptical of Mr excitement in the box. DC does have a wicked sense of humor (search youtube) but I wonder if he'll be too boring over the course of a race. I'll give them a go. But failing that there is always the red button and 5Live commentary Croft/Davidson are always very entertaining in the free practice sessions. |
