Was a intresting-ish race; Hoping Jenson can keep up the form though, Would love to see him take the title But, I'm glad to see Kimi back in F1; www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2ffKWVZbug ;D ;D Well explained.. ;D ;D Although I wonder how Domenicali would of explained it to Felipe.

It would have been Rob Smedley explaining it to Massa and he would probably have started something like 'Felipe baby, stay cool' ;D ;D
Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed the race on Sunday. Jenson Button was pretty much perfect and picked up where he left off last season. I've actually got very high hopes for him this season and this was obviously the perfect start for him
Biggest disappointment was Mercedes and Caterham; I expected them to be much quicker. And I simply cannot be annoyed at Pastor Maldonado. Yes, a big haul of points would have been fantastic for Williams, especially after last season but a racing driver is supposed to race right to the end and that's what Maldonado was doing. I rather suspect that in private Frank Williams was thinking the same thing and probably even had a wry smile on his face seeing his driver crashing on the last lap. But it does bode well for Williams. They have a very quick car and hopefully they also have the funds to properly develop it throughout the season as well

I'm quite glad that two of my cars have found there way on the podium in Australia. Considering the fact that Sky F1 only managed a meer 524K of viewers. Last year BBC got at least 2.1MILLION!!! of average viewers at Australia. I'm starting to think that the views on the Sky "dedicated" channel for F1 would stick around the 500K mark as I don't think no one in there right mind would want to switch to sky instantly just for F1 at that matter. I would of prefer if iTV took the contract even if they put ads in during the race. Least we'd get some of the live action.

Since the 3 races past I've been hearing things such as Webber could be linked to a Ferrari move by the end of this year which he may replace the under performing Felipe Massa. If Massa departs Ferrari who will he end up, Williams, Lotus? Also Schumacher has been giving Pirelli tyres so aggro saying that they wern't the tyres they used to be and that he was driving at Safety car speeds.

IMO his stock has been badly damaged and not sure if he would find a drive with a top-to-middle division team. That leaves the lower division and unless he brings lots of money....

Noted today that my favorite Ferrari Driver (oh the tears when he finally won his only race in Canada on his birthday) Jean Alesi will be entering this years 'Indycar' Indy 500 Alesi was one of my favourite drivers as well - loved it when he joined up with my favourite team at the end of his career ;D That said, I'm a little uneasy at the thought of him entering the Indy 500. He's not raced competively for a few years now and has never competed on an oval. To come in for your Indycar debut at Indianapolis - I just hope he knows what he's doing. Oval racing is a very different style of racing; it's not something you should go into blindly. I have fewer concerns about Rubens Barrichello making his Indy 500 debut - he's already tested at Texas and, obviously, has been racing competitively I really hope Jean does well though; he's such a nice bloke and the 500 is such a long race that anything really can happen I also really wish they would leave pole position clear on race day. The defending Indy 500 champion is not able to defend his title and there should be some sort of dedication to that. The Indy 500 really was Dan Wheldon's race and it's going to be incredibly tough to watch it without him competing Since the 3 races past I've been hearing things such as Webber could be linked to a Ferrari move by the end of this year which he may replace the under performing Felipe Massa. If Massa departs Ferrari who will he end up, Williams, Lotus? Ferrari would be a good move for Mark Webber. Sebastian Vettel is obviously the favoured son at Red Bull and while Webber probably wouldn't have much more luck at Ferrari against Fernando Alonso, he would perform better than Felipe Massa. I think it's win-win all round for both Webber and Ferrari. It also gives Sergio Perez more time to learn his craft away from the intense spotlight at Ferrari - I think Perez is a shoe-in for a Ferrari seat within the next two or three years Michael Schumacher's problem is that over the past few years of his comeback he's had to use the same tyres as everyone else. Back in his heyday, he, Ferrari and Bridgestone worked so closely together than Bridgestone were pretty much producing tyres exactly to the specification Schumacher wanted. They were bespoke tyres to the extent that they simply didn't work on other cars - why do you think all the other front runners switched to Michelin when they could? Formula 1 has always been about treating your tyres well. Back in the 80s the cars were producing so much power that treating your tyres carefully could result in a strong finish. It really was a case of going all out and stopping for new tyres a couple of times or treating your boots well and not stopping at all. Currently, tyre usage is one of the biggest factors in strategy. But, it has contributed to one of the most competitive starts to the season in many, many years. In years gone by, by the fifth race of the season you knew which car would probably win. This weekend, can anyone say with any conviction which car will win? It's probably one of four or five cars, so that's ten drivers in with a shout of winning the Grand Prix. How can that be a bad thing?

Absolutely over the moon with Pastor Maldonado's win for Williams but its tinged with sadness after the fire in the pits after the race. A really bizarre situation that's going to take a lot of investigation

Monaco was a bit 'dull' I thought this year, although good to see another winner this season...
As for the Indy500, whilst pleased that Dario won I would really have liked to see Tony Kanaan do it...

Dull race from Monaco as I predicted if you get poll you'll win no hands down.
He drove nicely and Roseburg tried to catch up but there wasn't nothing really intense going on just the fact that it slightly rained on the last remaining laps. This season I'm loving the fact that there is more then one driver who can win a Grand Prix not like last year. Will we see a 7th different driver winning the Canadian Grand Prix, my money is on Massa.. ;D ;D

Well done to Mark Webber, Red Bull are now the only team to have won 2 races in 2012. But 6 different winners in 6 races? Incredible! At this point i am still struggling to find who will be world champion. Anyone willing to guess? ;D McLaren have got a lot of sorting out to do back in Woking and during races. Firstly their pitstops havent been looking good in 2012, but since Bahrain things have improved. Their main concern is their overall race pace. Lewis really slipped down in Bahrain due to lack of pace in the McLaren, even with that at least a 5th would have been secure. Jenson Button is also complaining about the lack of pace, really in Spain McLaren were nowehere and Monaco, well Lewis just lost out to Alonso and really could have got more out of his McLaren. Mercedes are doing better this year, glad to see that however their reliability needs to improve if they are to mount a serious title challenge. With 3/4 DNFs concerning reliability for Michael Schumacher it is a serious concern. Hopefully Lotus will do well in Canada, it was just unfortunate to actually see Romain Grosjean taken out at the first corner. Who knows he probably would have challenged for the win? With Kimi, i personally would have done a Sebastian Vettel after what happened on Thursday. Lack of running time, not quite on the pace. Otherwise ive been really impressed with them so far this year Interesting season so far, Canada next
