I hope Nico wins in Singapore and goes on to win the championship. I've been a Rosberg fan since his debut back in 2006 and would be delighted to see him win a World Title I don't mind Rosberg, but I've been a fan of Lewis since 2007 so i want him to win

Whilst on the subject of F1, what do you think of the clampdown on team radio from this weekend? Interesting times ahead...

I'm rooting for Nico this year because he hasn't won a championship yet, plus I've always like him.
And regarding the new rule about team radio... I think it's quite weird to introduce a rule like that in the middle of the season, there mustve been a particular incident which persuaded the FIA to make that rule.

The FIA claim they've banned codes as well; yeah right. The teams employ far cleverer people than the FIA. They'll have a simple message about the weather telling a driver to make seventeen different changes to the car The new ruling won't make the blindest bit of difference

Broadsword to Danny Boy"

Did anyone watch the Formula E race? I haven't yet. I plan to watch it today. I watched it. I thought it was OK although the cars sound terrible. Maybe they can come up with a fix for that in the two months until the next race But the racing was pretty good. Franck Montagny was really up for it and pulled off some good moves. I think the racing could have been even better had the circuit layout been a bit more imaginative You said you planned to watch it today so I hope I'm not entering spoiler territory here (if so look away now) but Nico Prost should be ashamed of himself. It's no exaggeration to say that but for a few inches either way Formula E could have marked it's first race with a fatal accident. Even since Dan Wheldon's death in an Indycar race in Las Vegas a couple of years ago I've hated seeing racing going into fences the way Nick Heidfeld's did. For a few horrible seconds I had the memories of Dan's crash in my head and I was hugely relieved to see Heidfeld making his own way out of the car (shame the marshals weren't quicker off the mark). That Prost has only ended up with a ten place grid penalty is shocking. He should be facing at least a one race ban I'm definitely minded to give this series another look though and will definitely be tuning in for the next round in Malaysia. I'm even thinking about attending the planned London round in Battersea Park next year

I still say it's a complete waste of time. The teams are already working on clever codes as we speak. If they want to reduce the input a team has then the only way is to ban pit-to-car radio and have all messages from the team displayed on the pit boards

I'm supporting Nico, because I've always liked him and he hasn't won a World Championship. He was just unlucky in Singapore. But then again Lewis has had more problems so I gues they're getting kind of even.

I'll admit, that was a shocker! Also surprised Kvyat and not JEV got the promotion to replace Vettel.
Whether the rumours about Alonso to McLaren etc turn out to be true or not, we'll see.
Looking forward to the race tomorrow ☺
