December 2024 timetable has been revealed to us on RealTimeTrains. For Great Northern: - Additional 0717, 0745, 0817 from Letchworth to King's Cross service added, only calling at Hitchin, Knebworth and Welwyn North (1724, 1754 and 1824 from King's Cross) For Thameslink: - Nothing as far as I can tell let me know if I've missed anything With release of the Carriage Working Notices yesterday, those additional services will be 1 Lima’s and operated by 8 car RLU Class 700’s, I would have put money on 717’s running those services. More 8 Car 700’s return to the GN from December

700s are rotated around the network, surely, as ultimately all are cared for at Three Bridges irrespective of whether they are nominally based there or at Hornsey. There is a little slack in the class 700 requirement as slightly fewer trains are now operating than originally planned. The former Littlehampton - Bedford duties as one example no longer tie up a unit most of the day and require it outberthed at Littlehampton overnight where there is no class 700 technician on hand.

Big disruption due to flooding on the network, nothing stopping at Selhurst and other routes disrupted Not helped by a failed train at Victoria causing some main-line services to be diverted to "The Bridge"
