And now we have :- Multi millionaire Hammond as Chancellor Chief wire hanger and joking egotist Johnson as Foreign Secretary Hastings MP and clueless former Energy Secretary as Home Secretary David "no spy legislation or else I resign" Davies as Minister for Brexit Liam *I'm a clueless liar and I've got a friend called Adam" Fox as International Trade Secretary. George "white powder and hi-vi fan" Osborne summarily sacked and cast to the back benches This is either folly on a massive scale or a fantastic way for May to cast all the "oh sorting out Brexit will be so easy" politicians into oblivion when they find the going rather more difficult than they thought and fail to achieve what she has demanded. The next couple of years is either going to be hugely entertaining (if you're a masocist) or else like the last three weeks only magnified 1,000 times as we stagger from one political idiocy to the next. And don't even get me started on the "opposition". That's even more of a joke. Meanwhile Cher seems to have an opinion about one appointment. Also seems to be a bit of problem near Vauxhall. Love the last pic! It could be a similar air handling unit (like the sort which keep his Routemasters nice and cool) overheated a little? The news of him as Foreign Secretary made me choke on my Southern chicken I'd ordered for takeaway (it finally arrived, although 3 hours late) May's gushing speech was one thing, let's see how she can sort out the property situation for instance (Brentford, average cost to rent is close to £2k per month, to buy around £850k to £3.5 million in some parts) police (she's closed down the nick at Brentford, nearest cop shop is Chiswick), and seeing how Johnson is on the international stage may be as entertaining as him on that zip wire (thinking of Bild magazine's caption of BoJo with the caption "Good Luck", we will certainly need it)

I dread to think of him dealing with china or north korea. Boris seems a great choice to me but I suppose the negativity towards him on here was only to be expected.

Oh he'll just call the Chinese a load of ****** **** ping pong playing ******** and the North Korean leader * *** ***** (based on his past use of diplomatic language when referring to other countries, races and leaders). Asterisks used to avoid offence. My atlas must be out of date, I can't find any country named Jibber. He'll be able to take to them like a native.

And now we have the French and German foreign ministers branding Bozza "a liar, irresponsible, outrageous, back to the wall". These sorts of reaction are unprecedented and don't bode well. Gove gone Hunt out from Health (possibly - media can't make its mind up) Wittingdale gone Letwin gone Morgan gone Theresa the Terminator continues her mission of destruction. Still I'll probably be weeping when I see who she brings into Government.

Well Uncle Patrick has gone to keep the Tories under control and the mega useless and incompetent MP for Epsom, Chris Grayling, is SoS for Transport. We can wave goodbye to any sensible decision making from him.

And now we have a rumoured military coup in Turkey. Over to you Boris "I insulted the Turkish President" Johnson ..... Just shows the need to be circumspect in what you say when in the public spotlight.

Thats how dangerous it is and I stand in solidarity for those wanting peace, calm and stability

But the majority of the Turkish people are in favour of the president as he urged them to take to the streets and unite in a massive demonstration against the military. I echo your sentiments and I hope Turkey does not regress into a worse state as they have a lot to lose, I hope peace and stability is reinstated back into the country.

Various rumours (unconfirmed) that Erdogan is on a plane headed to the UK as Germany have refused him asylum. If true that poses a great many questions and generates all sorts of risks for us as a country (on top of the shed load of pressing problems we have generated for ourselves in the last 3 weeks).

As you will gather, I am disappointed by the outcome ie the Brexit vote. Leaving aside what I have already said, I have found a way to enable Britain still to feel a European country for me ....
I am cutting back on leisure bus & rail travels to places that voted Leave! One pleasure I did glean from my Enfield & Turnpike Lane trip today was that all my local rides were entirely in Europhile areas.

I am cutting back on leisure bus & rail travels to places that voted Leave! Why? That sounds extremely childish personally! I hate Chelsea & Tottenham football clubs - would I still travel to & from each area? Absolutely!
