So who is everyone supporting and predicting who will win? I'm supporting Poland and hoping Lewandowski brings his Bayern Munich form with him whilst I think the eventual winners will be out of France & Portugal I think that France stand a good chance, they have a really strong team. Portugal or Germany I think would be two who can come close, although even Germany would be a stretch. Although you have that super group which has Portugal, Germany and France all in it so we could see one of them making a premature exit if Hungary manages to pull a surprise. Talking of that Super Group, England are going to be toast if they actually top their group or come second as it's a very high likelihood they'll be going off against France or Portugal. If it's Germany they probably stand a better chance as Neuer has a habit of wondering out of Goal which is what ultimately cost them the 2018 World Cup as Son was perched up at the Halfway line. The England squad itself isn't too bad, but I am not too sure on their tactics in general. It seems to be extremely defensive and while that works, it's hardly a winning formula. I do think that the front line is really good though, Sterling, Kane, Rashford and Saka are all very strong players in their own right. This England squad is ok but the manager is the biggest issue they have as Southgate has shown on several occasions like a certain manager at Man Utd, he has little clue what he is doing. Maguire is heavily overrated whilst Mings & Walker have mistakes in them yet he is banking on these guys as his main defenders - no Godfrey who had a good season or even Holding given he was part of the Arsenal defence who finished 2nd in terms of least goals conceded in the league. Arnold’s injury was unfortunate but Trippier & James are there at least. Picking Henderson & Bellingham seem like picks for the sake of it given the former hasn’t played much in months and the latter shouldn’t be in the seniors yet whilst the delusion around Foden is laughable - that “Stockport Ineista” tag has really pulled the wool over people’s eyes. Sterling is overrated as we saw this season but it wouldn’t surprise me if he starts but yes the front line is their best position. As for Saka, hope he does well but I don’t see him being used much If it was me in charge, my line-up would be: Henderson James Stones Coady Chilwell Rice Mount Sancho Grealish Rashford Kane Given England’s strength is the attacking players, four at the back allows an extra attacker. Plenty of pace around Kane would cause issues as well as allowing Grealish, Rashford & Kane to switch around at times causing further problems for the opposition with Sancho staying more rigid but occasionally coming inside when James overlaps

Certainly not how anyone would like to leave the pitch but I'm sure everyone can be thankful he seems to have an optimistic outlook.

Terrible scene at Copenhagen this afternoon. Hoping for a speedy recovery for Eriksen today. Absolutely shocking - when I first saw the news, I thought it was Sven Goran Eriksson who had the heart attack but then realised it was him and am really praying for him, this is his second heart attack in the past few years and I really wish him a speedy recovery.

Are you sure it's his second heart attack? Just to clarify it's Christian Eriksen who used to play for Tottenham. Anyway he appears to be ok.

I know it's Christian (I am a spurs fan so did remember him playing - he was definitely someone to remember) but I do sort of remember something about him having a heart attack before? Might be false so don't take my word for it.

I was so shocked to see Eriksen collapse on the pitch the way he did. This thing needs to be discussed more and looked into. Bafetimbi Gomis had a similar situation back in Swansea in 2015 and Fabrice Muamba had one as well. My question is what is causing some players to collapse on the pitch. Is it a condition that has been undiagnosed?

Who I'm routing for in this competition. In no particular order I think it will be out of France, Belgium, Italy and Portugal.
