Overplayed? That's very insensitive IMO. How? You're saying something is being over-played without knowing all the details. I don't quite get how you can overplay someone lying unconscious on a field while receiving CPR. Whatever caused it, something that causes someone to pass out alone is very severe so saying it's being overplayed is quite inappropriate.

I was so shocked to see Eriksen collapse on the pitch the way he did. This thing needs to be discussed more and looked into. Bafetimbi Gomis had a similar situation back in Swansea in 2015 and Fabrice Muamba had one as well. My question is what is causing some players to collapse on the pitch. Is it a condition that has been undiagnosed? Probably genetics or maybe just being overplayed. What is being overplayed? you need to clarify yourself because otherwise you will be criticised by people.

Probably genetics or maybe just being overplayed. He likely had a heart condition which was undiagnosed Eriksson suffered from a Cardiac Arrest, it's comman in athletes as they usually work very hard with there heart ( stamina ). Everyone has a limit on how much the heart can produce as sometimes some athletes can overwork on themselves or its the couching staff that sets a high standard for there athletes.

I was talking about Eriksen being overplayed. He played like 60 games in the last two seasons. Sorry for anyone who thought I was being insensitive. But it could also be a condition that he’s ignored or that he didn’t know anything about it.

He may have been saying that Eriksen may have been overworking himself physically and that possibly led to the cardiac arrest, so where he overtrained or something and was burning himself out

So England win - very dull performance against a Croatia side who are on the slide and certainly the big boys won't be quivering at fear by this. The Scots will have watched that and will probably fancy themselves to grab something from the upcoming game

He may have been saying that Eriksen may have been overworking himself physically and that possibly led to the cardiac arrest, so where he overtrained or something and was burning himself out Without speculating too much a heart condition would effectively end his career. I very much doubt team insurers would be willing to take the risk. But there could be a potential good career in coaching, motivational speaking and commentating for him.

The Scots will have watched that and will probably fancy themselves to grab something from the upcoming game England could win every game 4-0 against France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Belgium and you would still find something to moan about. We get it, you don’t like England. But this squad is packed with excellent, young, talented players and playing at home will give them a big boost. This Croatian side is a couple of years away from a World Cup Final appearance and are no mugs - this is a good result for England. It wasn’t a top class performance but the heat will have contributed to that massively. There are still plenty of positives to take from today’s game, not least Kalvin Phillips’ fantastic performance in midfield The Scotland game will be vastly different. It won’t be so hot firstly and Scotland always raise their game against us. I still can’t see anything other than an England win though

England won and were the better team but it was nothing to shout about against a Croatia team who are much weaker than they were yet all I kept hearing was excellent performance this and brilliant win that - it's a win and that's it. EDIT: Phillips was very impressive showcasing his Leeds form here and Sterling was a constant threat even though I'm not his biggest fan

I agree, this win is extremely exaggerated. I expect England to top their group, but in fairness it's still quite a weak group. Topping such a weak group isn't going to be an extreme feat, the real test and where the showcase of real talent will be seen is if they do actually top their group and then go off against Germany, Portugal or France. If England win against them I'll be very impressed. But while I'm happy with this win today, it's not anything to be overly impressed about.
