468 should be in Southwark for Arriva.

Apparently the elderly and disabled are exempt. I'd assume they'd have to be Freedom Pass holders.

Q seem to have their Bus Full cards now.

First experience of being on a 'full' bus this afternoon. The driver played the iBus announcement and then didn't stop at bus stops except on request from existing passengers.
Incidentally it was one a 'free' bus, the 185 where I experienced this, while other routes that are touch-in had less passengers.

Today was my first proper use of the buses since lockdown on a weekday Monday. 197 had the Bus Full sign up, but let me on when passengers got off at my stop. However people are continually not reading the signs on the door, two passengers tried to get on using the rear doors, but did touch in when asked by the driver.
Another factor today was pensioners being allowed out for the first time since March. One older passenger got on and had her old and new Freedom Pass together causing card clash which caused delays in boarding.
While it seems Metrobus Croydon has Bus Full signs in the cabs, I didn't see any on the Q routes which are fare paying now.

As I suspected, the 176 is largely EH allocated today, except for one LT.
The majority of routes where I am are now fared except the 40 and 185, so have bought a Bus & Tram Pass again.

Looking at the WHV's on the 176 today, they haven't filled the gap by the cash tray. The EH's look ready for tomorrow, but I have the feeling they'll have to use more LT's to allow for touch-in boarding.

Spotted a 356 in Forest Hill today. No indication at all that you have to pay on the door, the only sign by the cab is to not go near the driver except in an emergency.
The bus was empty for once! If anyone did get on, I imagine it would have been a hassle for the driver having to tell passengers to use their Oyster or contactless while other routes are still 'free' locally.
On the other routes, I saw a EH on the 176 with the tape removed, which assumes they're having the cabs sealed, while I was on an EvoSeti on the 185 which didn't.

So Beddington will have to be careful not to allocate a single door bus to the dual-doored 201 as it occasionally does. Regarding LTs at Q, will buses have strict allocations between the 12 and the 176¹ or can the readers be switched on and off accordingly? ¹ - the latter still not taking fares due to mixed operation with standard hybrids. A strange one as I didn't board a 176 LT today as the signs are on and the readers were working.

Of the three routes outside my door, two appeared to run a Saturday service until midday, then resorted to the Sunday timetable until 4pm when they reverted to a peak frequency, while the other has been Sunday frequency all day.

Boxing Day rides used to be special, when routes were extended to run along the whole route. One of my first memorable rides was going on the 37 from East Dulwich to Richmond which in them days with shops closed meant the roads were like the early days of the lockdown.
I also liked childhood rides on the 12 when they used to operate to 'far flung' destinations like Elmers End Garage and Penge and Leyland National rides on the 12A, 12B and 227.

Does anyone know if the Freedom Pass restrictions will be both the morning and afternoon peaks or just the morning peak until 0900 as it used to be?

In an email from TfL tonight, they claim by next week that 70% of tube services will be running and 85% of bus services. Are we looking at the return of the emergency Saturday timetable first introduced at the beginning of the lockdown?

Not sure of how much interest it would be to folks on here, but in addition to buses politics is a big interest of mine, I was thinking of doing a list of parliamentary constituencies each London bus route enters. Be interesting to see how Tory or Labour the area of an individual route was. As a couple of examples, the 363 is wholly in Labour seats. Starts at the Elephant in Neil Coyle's Bermondsey & Old Southwark, then Peckham and Camberwell which is Harriet Harman, then Dulwich & West Norwood, Helen Hayes, the terminus is in Lewisham West and Penge, Ellie Reeves. (It also enters Lewisham W/Penge towards CP at Wood Vale and Sydenham Hill.) While the 227 starts in Tory heartlands at Bromley North with Sir Bob Neill's Bromley & Chislehurst seat, then Bob Stewart who represent's Beckenham and as the demographic changes, it becomes Lewisham West & Penge with Labour's Ellie Reeves as the bus enters Penge, terminating at Crystal Palace. Towards Bromley, there are two stops in Dulwich & West Norwood on Crystal Palace Parade as those stops are in Southwark.
