Again, as I've already clarified, it's based on the actual road and the whole of Deptford Church Street is within Lewisham - when Lewisham had its street lighting scheme a few years ago, the whole of Deptford Church Street had its lights replaced as part of the scheme and its columns refurbished. Street lights don't mean anything. Wood Vale and Sydenham Hill on the 363 are divided down the middle, but it's Southwark who administer the road for both boroughs including the lights and resurfacing works, so when Southwark introduced the 20mph speed limit scheme, it affected the Lewisham side as well. Refuse collections are done by the respective authority, which would explain why there's a Greenwich bin on Google Maps.

363 should be added for Bromley as you've done for the N63 which stands just inside the borough in Crystal Palace.

Friday was the busiest day yet on the 185, yet the 176 in my area was largely carrying fresh air.
Saturday afternoon was a lot quieter fortunately.
If the trend continues that certain routes are becoming busier, a revised Saturday service, at least during shopping hours should be considered. Hard I know when drivers are off-sick or in isolation.

185 on Fri/Sat as the day route between Victoria and Lewisham via Dulwich which would maintain a direct link to Lewisham and Catford from East Dulwich and Forest Hill.
I agree with the P4 keeping the existing route. Again, maybe worth trying on Fri/Sat to see if the passenger levels warrant it as Brixton Station is normally open on those nights for the Night Tube.
I don't know what pax levels are like on the final 197's on Fri/Sat night, but at the northern end of the route, the final bus largely carries fresh air to Peckham, although I can see the benefits of people visiting Croydon nightclubs and bars would benefit from a direct bus home instead of a more expensive cab ride.

Had to get on the 176 to Penge earlier and clearly reducing the frequency of the 197 to the Sunday timetable (20 mins) isn't helping. Almost a full load on Monday afternoon with most getting off at the Pawleyne Arms, clearly trying to get to Croydon on the 75.
With London Overground only running a 30 min service to West Croydon and the buses are still free, the freeloaders are getting on the buses.

Coming back home on the 185 this afternoon, the loads were similar to a M-F. Clearly the 'free' rides aren't helping.

I used the 176 and 197 today for an essential trip for food. Loads on both buses were on a par with Saturday when passengers still had to touch in.
The main concern I saw was at a bus stop in Penge. Social distancing wasn't being met with people standing next to each other for the bus.
I also saw a young man in his late teens come on with a football, presumably after doing his exercise, but I doubt his was an essential journey.

I thought the same with the 12. I can't remember where they used to stand. In fairness the 12 was going to change anyways due to the overlapping sections thou i guess it could have become Dulwich to NHG through. The 12 had been NHG to Dulwich for c10 years before conversion to bendybus. They were straight through late evenings and Sunday. Before the bendies arrived, the 12 used to stand in Etherow Street with Route 40 opposite a primary school. This changed to two stands in Friern Road and Lordship Lane, which are residential. The Friern Road stand is the more controversial of the two.

Q (Camberwell Garage) have already put the signs up and taped off the driver's side of the lower saloon of their buses today.
I couldn't see if PM had done their routes today, but GAL Metrobus Croydon was as normal today.

From my experience of riding buses purely for essential journeys of less than 10 mins this week, the decker routes are getting busier, not to the point where you can't social distance, but busier than the two weeks previously of lockdown where at times I was the only person on the bus.
However I did go on the P13 during the middle door trial and the most it had was four passengers with me being the only passenger for the majority of the ride.

Passenger loads on the buses I used today were so small that they could easily reduce to a Sunday timetable now.

Reinstate the island platform at Forest Hill and have 2tph Thameslink stoppers from Gatwick call at Forest Hill and New Cross Gate in addition to Norwood Junction to relieve the Overground and Southern stoppers to London Bridge, this would also reinstate an all day service to East Croydon from those two stations.
HS1 extended from Ashford to Eastbourne via Hastings replacing the current Southern diesel service by electrifying the line from Ashford to Ore, except for Ashford to Rye peak extras.
Extend the Southeastern stoppers to Tunbridge Wells to Hastings.
As for the Southeastern/TfL issue, I don't see Medway being an issue as the stoppers transferred to Thameslink, which would leave LO running services as far as Gravesend and Sevenoaks.

According to a reliable source the next batch of routes will convert on March 20th: 9/N9, 11/N11, 12/N12, 59, 87/N87, 137, 176, and 211 100% 87 and 176 will be converting on the 20th March as I've been on both those routes within the last few days and Ibus announcement have been going off saying "From the 20th March you must board all buses on this route from the front door and touch your card by the driver." Both times I've been on a WHV rather than an LT so was quite strange hearing that announcement on a conventional bus. The mentions on the 176 appear to be at specific stops, I've heard them at Penge West Station, Sydenham Station, Forest Hill Station, Dulwich Library, Goose Green and East Dulwich Station where iBus has added a '.' to those stops on the display. Can also confirm they're being played on the 12 as well.

I'm afraid there are parts of the day where the bus is a last resort. Purely for convenience, I'll pay £5-£6 using one of the PHV cab apps to get home than wait for a delayed bus. Afternoons around 3.15-4.15pm are another bad time to get a bus thanks to school children using them, not to mention the 20mph speed limit. I'd agree that the TfL £1.50 off-peak rail fare has played its part in decreasing passengers as well. Why would you spend an hour on a bus crawling just to go 5 miles or go on the Tube/Overground? Ola recently has gained a lot of traction with its cheap introductory fares, I only had to pay £6 from Barking to Greenwich. When this sort of thing is really picking up it's a real rival to the bus which is just getting slower and longer with the amount of links that are being broken. Yes, I used Ola a week ago and paid just over £1 for a 1.5 mile local journey. Those cheap introductory fares can undercut all TfL modes and get you to your destination faster than the bus.
