Definitely not local but in my view this proposal is not too bad, but bad optics in the sphere of the promised increased investment for outer London services. I assume Clay Tye Road residents won't like this news, is this going to be Maypole Bo-peep esque where they tell passengers to walk down country lanes instead? Clay Tye Road is served by non-TFL route 269 (Brentwood to Grays via Ockendon), so it wouldn't matter too much. Bar those passengers who'll have to rely on a route that could be withdrawn for commercial reasons, as well as higher fares.

As passenger numbers continue to grow, It will be interesting to see what is done at Whitechapel in terms of overcrowding. In comparison to other stations, it can often feel quite crowded already during the peak hours. The one bank of escalators and one pair of exit tunnels from platform A&B, are not ideal. It would have been good to have two exit tunnels to the one set of escalators but here we are I guess. The other issue with Whitechapel is that exiting passengers and passengers interchanging lines all have to leave via the same route. It is possible that Whitechapel is proving more popular than anticipated, especially given that passenger numbers and revenue on the line as a whole are considerably above expectations. Passengers needing to change between the Reading/Heathrow-Abbey Wood and Paddington-Shenfield services have been encouraged to do so at Whitechapel as passenger numbers on the platforms are generally lower than at other Central Core stations. Clearly come next May with the full timetable in operation there will be less need to do this. I walk to the far end of the eastbound platform and use the lifts to access the Overground platforms which seems to be a hidden secret for most passengers who use the station.

The countdown screens will likely be installed at a later date. The new shelter at Wimbledon didn’t have one for a couple of weeks and neither did the newest ones in Sutton when first installed. Now they all have them. Although they should be installed the same day for passenger convenience. This isn’t always the case - my local stop had a new shelter put in and to this day, it still hasn’t regained its countdown screen and we talking 2-3 years now Penge Pawleyne Arms northbound stop also lost their countdown board when it was moved from the junction of Croydon Road and High Street to next to the 176 bus stand.

Warm spell over the weekend, up to 14 temperatures halve on Tuesday ahead of next Arctic blast That is perfect weather for burst water mains. These next few days with temperature up & downs is going to be fun....not! Which is why the 363 and P13 are once again on diversion because of a burst water main on Underhill Road.

I think the 133 idea is just ridiculous although I think rerouting the 3 to Victoria makes sense. In what way does re-routing the 3 to Victoria make sense? Anyone coming from Brixton & further south will switch to the Victoria Line or use the 2 which is more direct, Oval has 2 routes in the 36 & 185 and those in between are unlikely to want Victoria as a specific destination given most head towards Vauxhall for the tube or use buses or tubes to go north or southwards. It ensures Horseferry Road continues to have a bus service after the 507 is axed. See also the re-routing of the C10 in Lambeth. One small advantage of the re-routing of the 3 mirrors the Southeastern train service to Victoria from West Dulwich and Herne Hill. It also helps residents of the Kingswood Estate who use Sydenham Hill station if the trains aren't working. Victoria IMHO is a better place for the 3 to go to than Whitehall since it was cut back from Oxford Circus.

I'd like to see the 12 increased in frequency to at least every 10 minutes instead of the current 12, but it's probably a big ask.

The 12 had the second most replies to the consolation from passengers, thanks to local campaigns.

The planned changes to routes 78 242 and 349 have been cancelled Route 12 has been saved as well. Good news for residents in Peckham who would have seen a much worse service. Route 3's re-routing to Victoria is going ahead however.

Quickest way train via London Bridge? It’s a lot cheaper to get the 269 & 119, and more pleasant than going all the way to Central London and back out again as well especially during the rush hours. There’s not much in it time wise as well, and I’ve saved money and not been squeezed in like a baked bean on 2 sweaty trains. An even better and cheaper method is to use the Elizabeth line from Woolwich to Whitechapel and then Whitechapel to West Croydon on the Overground, both TfL modes.

I remember in the RM days of the 37 being an overlapping route, Peckham to Putney and Clapham Common to Richmond with some off-peak through services when the roads weren't as busy.
One Boxing Day however in the early 90s, the 37 went from Peckham to Richmond covering the 337 bus stops.

Elizabeth line- Stratford to Acton Main Line via a change at Paddington (noticed that the Reading bound trains skip AML and head straight to Ealing Broadway after the central core. I'm guessing not to over-train it) Acton Main Line, West Ealing and Hanwell are only served by Heathrow Elizabeth line services. Currently 4tph, but should go up to 6tph when 2tph of the Shenfield services are extended to Heathrow in May.

Moving Bromley South to Zone 4 would reduce revenue for Southeastern and Thameslink. It's fair that a station that has fast services has a slightly more expensive fare than that of another where you have to change at least once to get into London Terminals. Bromley south would be better placed in zones 4/5 But who'd pay for the loss of revenue to Southeastern? It has to come from somewhere which makes moving zones a challenge.

if it is the case why PM have removed newer blinds for the current PM set, then it's a simple case that those EH's can be used on other PM routes.
