TfL Press ReleaseSeems TfL will be providing transfer vouchers / cards for people using PAYG / bank cards on the buses so they only pay once if they change buses by walking across Putney Bridge. Odd that the press release does not explain in detail what the route changes are! - only extra buses on the 72.

Hearing that Putney Bridge is currently closed due to bus crashing into the bridge. No further details yet The reports you're hearing are correct, LDP284 LX06FAO has crashed into Bridge, demolishing bricks from the bridge in the process. Hope all concerned are okay, A Quick look on LVF indicates the bus was in service on route 424 last seen at 10:50.

Hearing that Putney Bridge is currently closed due to bus crashing into the bridge. No further details yet The bus diversions were cleared at 1120 so buses are being allowed across the bridge. Taxis are also apparently being allowed to cross s/b. Photo from MPS River Boat twitter

It would be absolute madness to changeover at Fulham considering the Garage is only a few minutes walk over the Bridge

Reopens tomorrow, two weeks earlier than originally planned Ah...maybe that's why the WVLs from BX moved to East London. Because AF will be needing their buses back.
