I thought I would create a thread for the results of The General Election!
Was very surreal going to vote in the freezing cold dark and rain this evening! I think tonight's results are hard to call, I am just hoping we don't end up with a hung parliament as we just need to move on with everyday politics now.

Totally agree with your sentiments, but can only see another hung parliament ... More stalemate 😣😔

More stalemate 😣😔 From what I've seen in the polls it's heading for a Conservative majority, however we all know that polls can sometimes be far from the truth. Looking at London itself there's quite a few interesting ones to look out for like Richmond Park, Putney, Chipping Barnet and Dagenham & Rainham. I don't see my local MP losing her seat in this labour heartland.

I am not saying who I voted for but I’ll say this. No to Socialism it destroyed Venezuela and it could possibly destroy Britain.

We may now be in trouble.. We were in trouble regardless of which main party won - the only silver lining is this finally should be the end of Terrorist Corbyn & Sidekick McDonald along with Momentum and hopefully back to a Labour Party I can actually vote for.

I know its early days but Labour are getting hammered for their ambigious Brexit policy in nothern leave seats, of my seats to watch list the only ones to come through have all been Tory gains. Peterborough has also gone to the Tories to, having been a Labour gain two years ago.

Locally to you, Putney has gone Labour for the first time since 2005 which is a good win for Labour, helps them cancel out a tory gain in the north.
