PMSL, I said it at the start and I told everyone it wasnât coming home. There is no need to be like that, why not at least celebrate the successes of the England team, not many teams have got that far, so I see it as a successful tournament. Yes we didn't win, but it's the taking part that counts

Yes we didn't win, but it's the taking part that counts Really winning is all that matters and they didnât so no real success here. If you donât win taking part counts for nothing. Nobody sets out to be second best or in this case 7th. Now the womenâs team deserves celebrating because they actually win tournaments unlike the overpaid male players.

I said earlier on that it would have been a 2-1 win to France. I was right. I still say France would win the cup. I think it would be another France Croatia final. I think Morocco would lose to France next match 3-0.
As for the England match, when I saw Kane to do it a second time, I thought why not give someone else the chance, it just makes it harder for the keeper.

If you also look at it, the women England team get paid a lot compared to many other womens country teams around Europe or the world. I would say there was a few unfair decisions from the referee and a few fouls from the French team which they normally do not play that dirty. Attitudes like this is why in the past England were very poor for many years.

Just because the England womenâs team are paid comparatively more than other national womenâs teams does not mean they are less deserving of comparative pay to the England menâs team when the womenâs team is winning actual tournaments. They deserve far more funding to ensure they keep winning. My attitude stems from years of this country screaming âitâs coming homeâ when it never is. Iâll eat my face if the England menâs team ever win a major tournament.

It certainly is nonsense, the England squad have been vilified in the past and deservedly so but the whole squad can hold their heads up high this time. No blame attached to Harry Kane, anyone can miss a penalty and Gareth Southgate will know better than anybody how he must be feeling, maybe Jordan Pickford could have done better for the opening goal and some questionable defending on the second goal although it has to be said that the referee was terrible. France were my tip from the outset although I would love to see Morocco win it. Personally I hope Gareth Southgate stays on, the Euro's are only 18 months away.

It just wasn't to be last night, there were a couple of moments when the ball went loose in the French box and could have easily fallen to an England player but didn't - moving forward there are positives such as Rice is only 23, Foden 22, Saka 21 and Bellingham 19 and this may just tempt Gareth Southgate to stay on which I hope he does - but this loss hurts, probably only surpassed by Italia '90 and losing in Turin to (what was then) West Germany on penalties and Gazza's tears etc. That was a lovable England team, as is this one.

As for the "It's coming home" that only started from Euro 96 with the song by Badiel and Skinner. It was because the event was hosted in the UK then.

I have to agree, the team has got much better over the years. I really also think Kane has to look at leaving Tottenham, I am all for loyalty, but Tottenham has not achieved no major trophys for years.
