Who would travel on such a long winded route ? A X97 Chingford to Stratford yes I could see that being well used but the Barnet to Chingford section ? Leytonstone to "South Havering" I'm assuming Rainham a X66 , Why would this be needed when the 66 runs the length of the A12 anyway and is pretty much Express ? I feel like he has someone looking on the fantasy thread on here , I can't really talk for the other parts of London but bar the "X97" which I could see being well used the rest for East London anyway looks like pie in the sky . Why not look at the busiest routes and have a Express along those lines such as a "X5" or "X25" regardless of Liz Line Newham is one of the most populated parts of England these routes would be a lot more welcome than a X66 along a already quickish route .

Who else has noticed that SL5/SL7 change at the bottom? 👀 Ominous.

Hopefully regardless of any restructure, Bromley Council and TfL will work to sort the trees out and deploy deckers

I really like the Ealing-Kingston express route, Streatham to Eltham route express route, North Greenwich to Thamesmead express route, Wimbledon to Richmond express route proposals. Those 4 are the strongest ones from the whole Superloop 2 scheme.

I'd lay money that would be an instant success

I guess that would then guarantee the SL7 to be electrified, as I think the electric options out there don't have enough range for the current SL7? I also wonder if the chance of Arriva retaining the SL5 would be slim, as I can't quite see Arriva stretching into Sutton?

Their garage is in the middle of the route and indeed they already run the 627 school bus to Sutton and beyond to Worcester Park. I doubt it would change their chances either way.

I just realised that if route SL5 gets extended to Sutton then it will probably miss out West Croydon Bus Station with the next nearest stop in Croydon being East Croydon station. Route SL7 currently gets a lot of patronage from West Croydon so I cannot see that going down well with existing passenger base there when it goes to consultation. But I guess it is the time to shorten route SL7 as it will convert to an electric operation on its next contract which I guess will form part of TFL's justification for shortening it.

Those 4 are the strongest ones from the whole Superloop 2 scheme. I like the Streatham to Eltham one too although just personally I think a more direct link from Streatham to Peckham would be useful. P13 goes round the houses. Maybe Streatham-Tulse Hill-Peckham-Lewisham then onto Eltham?
