I do like the N18 idea of extending it up to Harrow. Then if people require services beyond they can just use N140 instead, and its a short extension of maybe 10 minutes max from Sudbury. The N23 does have its strengths however where would it stand at Wembley Park? Maybe Wembley Central would work better and passengers could transfer onto N83 if they want Wembley Park Checked the N18 timetable and it takes exactly 10 minutes from Sudbury to Harrow bus station. Because of a healthy disembark from The Triangle heading towards Wembley Park (most walk instead of waiting for the N83), I thought a round the corner link to Wembley Park would be beneficial. The area has become a leisure destination in itself, Boxpark the most notable venue, so would benefit the staff and customers who visit there as well. There is a stand on Kings Road so the N23 can stand there. Could take the N23 a bit further and after Wembley continue over the planned N518 to Ruislip. The 2bph would be suited to that section. I rather TfL just commission a N114 between Uxbridge and Mill Hill Broadway. Don't know why a central London link is desperately needed at night to Ruislip, but it's needed that much then the long proposed N7 extension from Northolt should do the trick. If TfL were to go through with an N114, what would its routing past Ruislip until Uxbridge be?

The N148 would distinguish the Dulwich journeys with the day Camberwell Green terminators.

As stated in the article, first buses were at 0040 from each end, then every 20 minutes until 0900. A better level of service than is provided by today's N32 (its direct descendant), although the buses are much bigger today.
Ian Armstrong's page on the 294 (which would later become the N94, then N16, then N32) has a timetable from 1946. By then the service had dropped to hourly, i.e. just six journeys each way.

Wow. The first night route came 50 years after the first underground line in London. It's worth noting though that several tram routes had night services before 1913, as did some rail routes. The 94 was the first bus route as it filled a gap in those networks.

N18 - Sudbury and Harrow Road short working extended to Harrow Bus Station. Passengers will have a more frequent service and be able to changeover at Harrow for the N140 if they require Wealdstone and their N18 only goes to Harrow Bus Station.
N207 - Hayes, By Pass workings extended to Hayes, Sainsbury's. This will allow for N207 users to be able to always have access to another night route (N140) to connect to.
N140 - diverted at Hayes, Coldharbour Lane to double run via Hayes, Sainsbury's. This will allow those to connect onto/from N207 without having to walk.
