N114: new night route between Mill Hill Broadway and Heathrow Central via route 114 to Ruislip, U1 to West Drayton and U3 to Heathrow. To provide a night link between Uxbridge and Ruislip. N278: new number for the N518. N518: should be renumbered N278 and extended from Ruislip to Heathrow Central via route 278 so theirs a 24 hour link between Ruislip and Hayes / Heathrow. Is a night link from Rusilip to Heathrow particulary needed? Well the 278 starts at 3am in the morning TfL might as well make it 24 hours,

Would the W3 & W7 possibly benefit from having their night services reintroduced?

Would the W3 & W7 possibly benefit from having their night services reintroduced? Seeing as TfL have stopped weekend night buses, it is kinda difficult to answer. With the Night Tube, the W3 had very decent loadings Finsbury Park- Hornsey, Priory Road, with the Wood Green- Tottenham High Road section generating its own niche custom due to lack of alternatives. Assuming you're talking about 24/7 operation, the W3 could eventually be successful outside of weekends by supporting Alexandra Palace workers with a night link to nearby station hubs in Wood Green & Finsbury Park, as well as residents around the A10 as previously mentioned. I cannot see the W7 coming back in weekend form or 24/7 form, and the lack of it at night will boost the W3's numbers as people use it as an alternative at night for the W7 in Crouch End and Hornsey.

We can also note there's an argument much of the W7 is already well served by 24hr night services. At Crouch End, there's the N41 and N91 as well at Muswell Hill having both 24hr 43 and the 134.

Yeah I had a feeling that the W3 would be a useful night service to reintroduce. I think it will be made even more useful once the developments at Meridian Water come into play & the route gets extended there.
