Has to be France - best squad by far in the competition. If they don’t win it, questions need to be asked about Deschamps
Germany will surprise people (and I’m not referring to the 5-1 result against Scotland) 😂

I'm going to say Portugal as a way for Ronaldo to possibly bow out.

England 😉
Germany looked good last night but Scotland were shocking so you can’t draw too many conclusions from last night. I suspect the Germans will be up there along with all the usual suspects

I only saw about ten minutes of the first half and the last twenty minutes or so of the second half so I can’t draw too many conclusions but given it was just a 1-0 win I assume we were utter crap, will barely get out of the group, will get hammered by the first ‘proper’ team we face and that Gareth Southgate is an inept, clueless moron? That’s generally the criticism England face pretty much everywhere!

Great for the first 20 minutes or so with Serbia barely getting out of their own half but to give them some credit they stayed in the game and could have got something out of it in the end. Jude Bellingham was great but Phil Foden was particularly disappointing and Harry Kane and Trent AA weren't great and the second half was very scrappy but three points in the bag.

Decent summary except I’d say Serbia only started to get into it right at the end of the first half, and I also think Saka is worth a shout out too : he was excellent.

The fact is England have arguably one of the most stacked squads in the tournament and Serbia should have been a walk in the park for them. Do you really think a performance like yesterday would have held up against France, Spain, Portugal or Germany? Score a sole goal then defend it like your life depends on it isn't a good strategy.

I didn’t say it does but it shows that there aren’t any easy games at this level. Teams like Austria and Serbia are not pushovers and it’s disrespectful to suggest they are. I wonder if there are any calls in France for Didier Deschamps to step down because he doesn’t know what he’s doing?
