What's the 1 as yet confirmed exception? The LTs from route SL3 ought to convert an as yet unconfirmed route. An example that has been suggested on this forum is route H98. Yes I agree. The 5 year term on the H98 is probably a logical use to be the last conversion.

There's also the LTs from the 211 that's likely be reallocated once the route goes to TUK, who have their own surplus batch that were on the 111

If a route in the Hillingdon / Uxbridge area could take LTs which route could be? U4? I think the turns around Bourne Ave/Pinkwell Lane might be too tight. H98 I think is the most obvious choice & could be done with LT’s from the 211.

If a route in the Hillingdon / Uxbridge area could take LTs which route could be? 427 and 607 😁 Jokes aside, the H98 has been touted as having potential for reasons already stated. Hayes End is practically Hillingdon if you are based around the Lees Road end.

I’m sure the H98 would convert to LTs

I could be well wrong but guessing the H98 is one of the final routes to convert to LTs? Doubt there are many enough for other routes to convert?

Presumably using LT’s from the 211.

Theoretically we could see them on other routes up until 2030. As we get closer to 2030 the orders for the last few electrics will ramp up so we could see some short term allocations of LTs. Especially if London buses are brought under public ownership. The mayor has pledged to review public ownership and Labour plan to revise the laws to allow municipal ownership of bus companies.

Yes the tender starts earlier than the H98 but imagine the electrics might enter service late on the SL3 Also as Eastlondoner62 mentioned the H28 can convert ahead of the tender renewal which is something I completely overlooked.

I'm still speculating the 61 will convert using the LTs off the SL3, especially seeing the 422 tender result yesterday I have a feeling that the 63-reg E40Ds currently at TB are the buses planned for this and so the LTs can free them up from the 61.

If the SL3 LTs are as unreliable as reported I don't think Stagecoach will want to keep them.
