Northern Line night tube back on Saturday (2nd July). [Per email from TfL] Presumably should see the return of the N154 then. None of the weekend only night bus routes have restarted yet, so don't count your chickens

It is amazing that only North London seems to need to travel at night and not South London.

Wow, a little South London tokenism. Once Overground is taken into account, and the Piccadilly added back into the night tube, ~90% of the TfL night rail network will be in the North. Time to level up the South. South London are getting a fair deal on this ... even the high frequency night bus routes operate mostly north of the Thames

The South London Line to Clapham is really the only missing gap. Unless TfL is handed control of the Metros SE and Southern operate then it's not TfL's problem what gets night train services down there, it's an issue for the DfT which don't seem to be showing any interest in doing so.

But TfL does not operate all the NR Metro service in North London. North London double dips ... Best of both worlds, South London needs to be TfL leveled up. Oh Night Overground, only goes as far as New Cross, avoids most of South London. South London does not get a fair deal from TfL.

East / SE London gets the wrong end of the stick as well. We don’t even have enough river crossings unlike the west, and all of them are idiosyncratically bad - tower bridge? A crawl most of the day - rotherhithe tunnel? Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy - Blackwall tunnel? Need I say more? To add salt to the wounds it will be tolled soon - silver town tunnel? If it ever gets built, will be tolled and use the same Approach roads. We know how that will work out - woolwich ferry: don’t even bother. No one knows which day it works - dartford crossing: tolled, heavy traffic

(Albeit East Croydon at night)
