The 96 to serve DV Hospital rather than pass by without stopping. During daytime going that way there can be a lot of traffic, They should just let the 96's use the fastway bus lanes and then maybe I'd justify it serving DVH but otherwise it could easily ruin the reliability

The Fastrack buses have special features for those bus lanes to change the traffic lights.

There really isn't any need. The Brent & London Road are just dead and non stop to Bluewater makes it better so can be used to the full advantage. The 428 already serves DVH and certain times of the day no one even gets on or off there...

To be fair, 'TL1' probably knows more than most of us given he actually drives out of DT.

I've mentioned this one before but I'll mention it again here. On the outbound journey on the R5/R10 I wouldn't serve Orpington High Street in both directions. There is often significant traffic at most times of the day from Homefield Rise down to the War Memorial and changing the routing to match the inbound journey i.e. using Gravel Pit Way, should improve reliability, particularly on the peak time journeys. The outbound journey would serve the stop on Spur Road with the stop outside McDonalds on the High Street not being served

It seems strange that a major hospital isn't served by an important route like the 96. I get that it's outside TfLs boundaries and that there are local links to the hospital but it's probably the closest hospital to places inside the TfL boundary such as Bexleyheath. I imagine it may well also be the hospital residents of Crayford and Bexleyheath are referred to for major medical problems and elderly residents in the area may appreciate the direct link I daresay a quick buzz in and out of the hospital could probably be done within existing schedules as well

A small change I would make to the 410 route is to reroute it via the full length of Lansdowne Road and not via Cherry Orchard Road.
Three advantages:
Quicker journey time.
Restores a service to Lansdowne Road for the first time in many years.
Buses would no longer get swamped with 197 passengers at East Croydon.
The 410 would serve the back entrance to the station instead where there is room for a small bus/rail interchange. Towards Wallington buses would go via Dingwall Road and George Street to Wellesley Road.

I have never got thought East Croydon without getting stuck at the lights on Addiscombe Road, and then most of the time the bus stop on Cherry Orchard fills up the bus. I do see it being a problem for people that normally board at Dingwall but I think overall it's a good idea.

I fear for route 398, it's greatly underused , even after the welcome addition of an evening and Sunday service. I would to see it diverted to run along Roxeth Green Avenue and then join 114 and 140 and come into South Harrow via Shaftesbury Avenue. Also I think extending the H14 beyond Northwick Park Hospital via Watford Rd, Sudbury Court Drive,Sudbury Hill to Greenford Westway Cross would create new links and be very useful.
