When Lewisham Bus Station is closed I do believe the 108 will stand in Molesworth Street, I'm not sure where it picks up its first passengers though, I think I saw this info on a notice in the garage or on the staff forum/website. Where ever all the routes end up and their starting points I'm sure your going to get loads of confused passenger, simply because they won't read the info provided by TfL I wouldn't be surprised if the 108 picks up from the 436 stop in Molesworth Street, Stop S or possibly Q nearer the shopping centre. With buses from Stratford dropping off at the top of the road nearest the station. However when the work is complete, Rennell Street or Lewisham High Street opposite the police station could become the drop off point for the 108 from Stratford.

Looking at the map, post the redevelopment, the existing two bus stops on Loampit Vale outside the station could be moved to Molesworth Street. Rennell Street appears to become the connecting road to the A20 for all traffic including those bus routes which would serve Lewisham Police Station, Lee High Road and the High Street.
The temptation must be there for certain routes to run along the whole of Molesworth Street in both directions to improve reliability? I've been on late running buses which have dropped off passengers in Molesworth St to gain time back.

Why is the bus station closing? The land where the bus station is and across the roundabout area is going to get a huge development built on it. The traffic system in Lewisham is going to be changed all over again. I found the plans on the Lewisham Council website a few weeks ago. Ah, ok thanks. All of the double deckers which use the bus station start from the Loampit Vale stops currently, so this will affect those single decker routes which use the stop on the side street next to the DLR station. I'd like to hope the P4 will use Loampit Vale purely for the fact that if I travel from Lewisham, I use the Lewisham Police Station stop where it's easier to catch it or the 185. If the single deckers move to Molesworth Street, that may be a problem.

Does snowy conditions count? A couple of years ago when the snow really came down proper. I was stuck on a 126 for two hours at the Junction of Widmore Road & Kentish Way, gridlock traffic in Bromley. Then I didn't arrive in Grove Park for another hour. I got on the bus something past two and didn't leave Bromley until the sky began to get dark. That day the 126 was the only bus running through Bromley. All other buses were either stuck or withdrawn due to the conditions. I remember during the 2010 snow, my mother was stuck in Grove Park and while the bus stand by Grove Park Station had 136s parked up told to stay there, the only bus operating was the 124 to Catford which she boarded. At Catford she was told no buses were operating and walked home. Around 8.45, the first bus to arrive in Dulwich was a 197 to Peckham from Croydon which you can imagine was packed. Other buses were stuck at Dog Kennel Hill and Lordship Lane Wood Vale. Route 356 managed to operate between Upper Sydenham and Shirley despite the steep hills.

Looking at the section of Dalberg Road where buses serve on Google Streetview, it's larger than the section of Underhill Road served by the 363, N63 (and P13 which serves the whole of the road.)

Route 363's from Crystal Palace returning to Peckham Garage tend to go line of route as far as Lordship Lane Wood Vale, then instead of going via the tiny residential streets of Underhill Road and Wood Vale continue along LL to Dulwich Library and Barry Road as Route 197 back to line of route on Peckham Rye.
Underhill Road in East Dulwich must be the shortest residential street in London which is served 24 hours a day by double deckers!

Must be my imagination but Court Lane seems to have gotten very narrow over the years with all the parked cars, as the people seem to be driveway averse. This might cause issues with passing buses. Can't imagine the affected of that road would let it happen. Whateley Road and Underhill Road are narrower than Court Lane and yet are served by 8.8m Darts which get stuck on a daily basis. Obviously the longer Darts used on the P4 would be unacceptable along Court Lane. The section of Underhill Road between Melford Road and Lordship Lane are also served by the likes of PVL's and Enviro 400's on the 363/N63!

A small idea to try and relieve the congestion in the Dulwich area. How about re-routing the bus via Court Lane?
This would divert the route towards Streatham by turning right from Melford Road to Lordship Lane, Court Lane, then Dulwich Village, College Road, then back to line of route at Dulwich College. Towards New Cross it'd be the same, except that it'd serve the Grove Tavern (which is only served by Streatham buses currently) and Underhill Road bus stops.
Benefits:
Removes the bus from the traffic jam between Lordship Lane to Dulwich College which would improve reliability. Dulwich Village would have two bus routes with more connections towards Streatham and the residential streets of East Dulwich, alongside the existing P4 buses.
Negatives:
Court Lane is a residential street, however the P4 was re-routed to the South Circular Road after speed bumps were installed in the early 90s. However, this area has expensive housing and may come against local opposition. Dulwich Common would see a reduction in services leaving it with the P4, however those who are likely to use the P13 on that street live on the Lordship Lane Estate would still be able to pick up the bus from the Lordship Lane stops.

Going back to the earlier suggestion of axing the 356 with diverting it using the 181 towards Tulse Hill, it doesn't take into consideration the useful connection in Upper Sydenham which connects that area to Forest Hill as it has no other direct bus. Until they had the 352 then the 356, those who couldn't walk to FH were expected to get the 363 to Lordship Lane, then cross a busy main road for the routes into FH or get the 202 to Kirkdale then change for the 122, 197 or 176.
Single decker routes such as the 356 and the P13 are not designed to be ridden along the whole route, but offer useful connections to largely residential areas without trunk routes as is the case with the 356 between Upper Sydenham and Forest Hill, FH to Lower Sydenham, Penge to Elmers End Tesco and so on.

Some of the routes I don't like have already been mentioned, such as the 197 and the P13, however the P12 is worthy of a mention because of the extension both north and south of the original route which has led to it being unreliable. It used to operate a circular route from Peckham to to the council estate opposite Honor Oak Cemetery and back. It replaced the P13 north of Queens Road Peckham station to Surrey Quays and was extended to Brockley Rise via Honor Oak Park station.
Due to the overlength of the route, it now has similar issues to the P13, especially in the peaks.
The 343 also deserves a mention, although I find the problems on that route is due to the lack of assistance from other routes in the North Peckham area, also I find Abellio's buses scruffy and and sudden change of buses which I've experienced in the Elephant and Castle doesn't help.

Last year, I remember seeing some of the drivers on the carnival services taking their breaks at Peckham Bus Station.

How can a driver tell if a passenger is genuinely vulnerable? Most if not all of under 19s have some form of free bus travel which leaves adults. There will be some who'll try and abuse the system for a free bus ride.
However, the negative balance for one bus journey is better than nothing.
